(no subject)
My hypnosis CD hasn't really worked for the past few nights :( I'm disappointed, but I'm also holding onto the thought that it worked all of last week, and also that every time I listen to it I NEARLY fall asleep, so it's not like it's not working at all.
Had the Greek mythology exam yesterday. I think I did OK. I'm relieved that I managed to finish The Odyssey in time for it! Also I finally got back the Roman essay on Cicero I did ages ago, and I got an A! Yay! The lecturer had scrawled many, many notes over my essay, though, all very critical, but at the end he wrote that all these criticisms were actually a GOOD thing. Um...OK. (Psst...he's also the really hot lecturer! Hee.)
My mother continues to amuse and worry me. In the evenings, my brothers and I usually watch Stargate and she'll be sitting there reading or whatever. Thus she picks up bits and pieces from the episodes, and now refers to Stargate as 'that thing with the guy with the yoke on his head and the Torcs and the Unkas and the Boo Dee Boos.' WTF?! The 'guy with the yoke on his head' is Teal'c and the 'Torcs' are probably the Tok'ra, but the rest? It's a mystery.
