My parents were on strike yesterday because the government wants to cut pharmacists' wages. My father went to the big meeting in Dublin, but my mother had to open the pharmacy for an hour for emergency prescriptions. She wore her jeans and her black beanie because she said she wanted to look like a miner on strike.
Some of the Mocks came back today! I got 75% in my English. I'm pleased enough, but I definitely want to build on that for the real thing. The French and Biology papers came back as well, and I'm getting those results tomorrow. Eeee.
We got out at four o'clock today because the Parent-Teacher meetings were on. We had the last class in the kitchen but no one was really doing anything, and then the principal came in and started to help the teacher make sandwiches for the meetings. Er, I guess he didn't have anything else to do?
