(no subject)
I have survived the five hour Art exam. Actually, it was more like five and a half hours. We had all run out of time, but the Art teacher said no one ever gets it right the first time so she let us have the extra half hour. Since I was the one who was most running out of time she glued the wool onto my puppet as hair, which was really nice of her.
As I had so little time, she suggested that I use a sewing machine in the real exam. So now I will have to learn how to use a sewing machine and not break it and stuff.
My Wizard puppet's hair looks like dreadlocks and I put glitter in his hair and on his shoes and I couldn't get the right shade of red for his lips so I just painted them blue.
We got an hour's break for lunch and Sinead insisted that we walk into town for lunch (with Liam) and it was windy and rainy and when I got home I was still damp and had to change my socks.
This evening I was exhausted and had a headache. For some reason my mother thought this would be helped by yet another walk. Oscar came too, and I carried him for most of the way back (it was muddy and he doesn't like getting his paws muddy).
Still had a headache when I got back.
Tomorrow we have another Art exam - drawing a still life and then drawing a person. I don't know who we're going to be drawing, but they'd better be able to keep still, whoever they are.
