This morning everyone was hanging out in Room 2 wearing normal clothes and wellies, because we were going to the river. I think we caused some confusion marching up and down the corridor in wellies, hee. Anyway, it was a cold, windy day and the river was rushing along too fast for it to really be safe to wade into, so we didn't get many measurements done. Mr O'D appointed me the photographer, and all I could think was, 'I am standing at the edge of rapids with the school's only camera in my hand.' It's an amazing camera though. I'm sure our camera could be just as good...I just need to fiddle around the settings.
After a while the man who lives beside the river came along, probably to see what we were doing in his field, and he and Mr O'D got into a great chat with him about the mill he uses to generate electricity from the river, while we stood around sullenly getting colder and bored-er. We got back to the school at twelve and at lunch were allowed to go into town for something hot to eat. I didn't warm up properly until I got home, though.
The Art teacher pinned my still life to the wall and said it was excellent. I floated home on a little cloud.
I haven't got my Biology homework done. On Friday I think I accidentally handed the sheets to Sinead who put them in her book and put her book in her locker, and then Liam stole her key. So...yeah.
