YES. I am now technically on my midterm break. Lots of Maths to do, I probably should start studying, but I can worry about all that when I get back from Italy.
I feel tired but cheerful. I now have the next four days to do anything I want (i.e. absolutely nothing) with no homework or anything. Actually, I want to write poetry, for some reason. I tried to start four poems simultaneously today, but that didn't work out well.
As for the day itself...well, this morning I went to the hygienest to get my teeth polished. They get tiny brown stains from all the tea I drink. But there is no way I can ever possibly ever give up tea. No way.
The Home Ec teacher made brown bread ice cream and let us all have some (even though some of us only sit in that class to study). I've never even heard of brown bread ice cream and it tasted just like brown bread, but it was yummy all the same.
There was a meeting about the Italy trip in the school tonight. Mammy couldn't go, so Sinead's mother gave me a lift in. The students and parents all crammed into Room 2 and we were basically told everything we already know, about the rules and stuff. After the meeting the principal tapped my new glasses and said he liked them. Heh.
OK, after I wrote the above, Twinkle threw up and I was the only one around to clean it up. I just love my cats so much.
But oh well. I have the evening ahead of me, I can spend more time on the internets, and then start my new book (I finally finished the other one) and eat a muiller and toast and Hobnobs with chocolate spread and sprinkles on them. Bliss.
