So today, I get to pick up the car! Granted, it'll sit in my driveway until I can pull together a little bit more money to securely pay for any maintenence and insurance, and gas, and plates....
I ended up buying it from a raging Irish woman literally less than 1/4 a mile away from me who is going back to Ireland with her husband. My mom, being someone who picks up accents easily started speaking to her in an Irish accent (which was quite embarrassing!) :) Anyway...
The only thing I don't like about it is that it's small and therefore is lacking in any horsepower. It practically takes me to pedal it to the floor sometimes to get up hills. But it's reliable and all that jazz, so we're good.
And this also means I won't have to drive the elderly mobile! Well, it's not that bad, and I liked driving it, but the wipers and lights switch are really weird, and I always forget how they work. I also happen to think that the alarm system is really annoying.
Here's where you come in! I need to think of a name for it (and I already got Kate's opinion on this ;)) so I'll glady take any suggestions!
