I now sell shoes. That's interesting. I also saw the movie "In Her Shoes" which is also interesting. So many shoes. Either I need to go out and buy a new pair or I need to run, run away from shoes. I don't think I could ever be sick of shoes... give me one more week and I'll get back to you on that.

Funny thing happend at Payless on Saturday. Friday night I indulged in the drink knowing full well that I worked all day Saturday... but... I was pretty sure that I would be sitting, watching more vidoes becuase that's all I have been doing and I haven't completed the workbook yet. Surprise! I literally got thrown onto the register (seriously, I was told "just type this and this and this.. now help all these people!") on a Saturday afternoon at a busy mall. Funny thing was, I didn't mind. It is a CASH REGISTER. It doesn't take much effort to work one. I surprised myself by how much confidence I had doing that task and was very pleased with my performance. Yea for being old! The funny thing was, all the other sales associates and the asst manager were fawning over me and gawking at how well I was doing and how fast I picked it up. Inside I was literlly floored.. how bad are their new hires that they are impressed when someone can run a cash register with no formal introduction? Seriously folks!

Anyway, I did the shoe thing all day Sunday too and then went to a movie afterwards to unwind. "In Her Shoes" was sooo good. Sure, it wasn't a spectacular social commentary or any neuvo art-house film, but it was pointed to-the-heart and so well written, there was just the right amount of wit and drama... and pleanty of tears (from me) that it was an awesome experience. The movie has one of the most hilarous and romantic first-kiss scenes EVER! *Sigh* And a really really great one-line explaination as to why women are obsessed with shoes. It was quite a show, just what I needed. :) I'd definitely go see it again.

My one sister has mono, the other is grounded for life. I miss them... How long until Thanksgiving anyway?

The weird guy was leaving at the same time as I was this morning. He waited for me in the hallway and talked to me all the way to our cars. Then we followed each other to 494 and then we both got off on France Avenue. Now he's gonna come knock on my door again tonight, I just know it. Maybe if I turn the music up really loud I can just say I didn't hear the knocking. He kind of creeps me out. When I'm on my balcony on the phone and he's also on his, he just stares at me. Weird. And he's from Michigan. Heh.

Great America is less than one week away!!! If I can get through the non-stop craziness of multiple works this week, I will be able to enjoy the time off. Hopefully. :)
