Saturday I was working when somehow the coolest thing happened. With about 1 hour before the show started, Shayna and I somehow worked it out to go to the Backstreet Boys concert. The FREAKING BACKSTREET BOYS. Oh, I was super super excited!
Now I never saw them in Jr. High or High School and now all of their fans are either in Jr. High or High School, so it was with a lot of hilarity that we went to this show. Thank god the tix were super cheap or I don't think "our plan" would have ever materialized.
I think Shayna is a little deaf now. The US Government should look into using the screams of pre-pubescent girls as a source of eletricity. Seriously. Thank goodness they stopped screaming during the songs so that Shayna and I could belt our hearts out.
*Sigh*
Lots of funny moments at the show too. I was surprised. These guys are actually really good entertainers and they can really sing.
It was awesome. I don't care what anyone else has to say about this... It was awesome.
