[Something's changed about one of the custodial closets in the Mall. Instead of holding cleaning supplies, the room contains a sprawling maze of mirrors. Upon closer inspection, it appears that the mirror reflects one's insecurities, true self, or perhaps a hidden negative quality.
...worst part is, everyone can see.]

That his reflection doesn't have to change a thing.
That, of the three angels following him, only Seraph is reflected.*

(Well. Another "me.")
[His reflection snarls at Rio's, its half-mask in an eternal, mocking grin. Blood freely flows out of its torn-open chest cavity, which appears to be missing its heart.]

Tell me your name isn't Davis.

[His reply is calm, if not slightly condescending. He cooly makes eye contact with his lawful self.]

*The angels behind him hover, keeping their eyes on the other man. Rio is unarmed, after all.
What remains unspoken between all four members of the Lawful party is that it's clear that both of them have regretted their choices.*

[His tone is a bit more on the casual side, as if he were in mid-negotiation with a friendly demon. The angelic prescence seems to put him on edge, based on his tensing posture.]
Interesting mirrors, huh?

[They were the same, yet opposite, even in regards to supernatrual protection. It was almost uncanny.]

...you went with Zelenin, right?
[The question was more of a formality.]
She wasn't too bad either.
[There's a sort of regretful nostalgia to his tone.]

I feel bad for what she went through.
*A pause. A phantom of Mastema appears in the mirror behind his own reflection, flickering in and out of existence, looking longingly towards the sky. Rio keeps his expression the same, however.*
...I thought she would be more like me. That faith would help ease her pain. I know mine's what got me through my own darkest hours.

His breath comes in a sharp inhalation upon seeing the new reflection. His "demon," now chained to a silver cross that it carries, begins to mutely roar in unadulturated rage.]
...and she was used because of it.
[Even if he didn't always agree with her, he respected her. Well, that is, until she became an angel.]

...Yeah. But Mastema did give her confidence. Without him, she would've been an emotional wreck before long. Zoe was just too swamped to give her the counseling she'd need.

[He sees the point in Rio's words, yet his subconcious still places the blame on the angel, desrvingly or not.
He takes the edge off of his tone, realizing a debate on this would be pointless.]
Look, It's no worth getting into that.
[He lets out a mild sigh.]

...It's really not.
