*Mastema did spend three days with his wings sandwiched between cardboard Mothman wing cutouts. Despite the fact that he'd found...something of a workaround, it only worked when he was sitting or laying down, and he couldn't lay around half-naked all day.
So Mastema is flying rather painfully throughout the Mall, carrying those wings. He did promise he'd give them away to that demoness, after all. His wings don't look like they're working quite right, if his expression of pain isn't enough.
