"Well, this is the Velvet Mall. It's...rather weird. It's like this pocket dimension thing that pulls in different people from other times and worlds. And that's...really the best way I can explain it."

[That... makes sense, and doesn't. If he could believe in TV worlds and shadows and such, why not humor this, he guesses.]

What do you mean other times and worlds, though?

"Ah...what I said. Like...I'm apparently from 'The Past' or something, and there was a lot of weird stuff I wasn't used to when I first came here. And, uh, the worlds thing is basically...let's say there's another version of you in a another world. They could be brought here too. So that'd lead to duplicates..."

It's kind of hard for him to explain. All he knows is that there are a bunch of different versions of him and his brother and it kinda...creeps him out a little.
