Kate: She lives in an apartment with her mother. Her father died from cancer. Her grandmother, Jane, used to be Sailor North Star. ("She had long blonde pigtails and a gold-themed uniform. her eyes were a sparkling blue.") Jane lives in Great Meadows, New Jersey with her three cats.
Lisa: Lives in the same apartment building as Kate with both of her parents and has been BFFs with her since she was 2, supposedly.
Bebe: She's the most popular girl at Norman Thomas High and the comically vain mean girl that makes fun of Kate and Lisa in school.
Mia: "You see, originally, I'm from Illinois. My mom and Sheldon's mom, my aunt, were sisters. I never had a father. My mom was engaged to a man and was pregnant with me before she was going to get married. She moved in with him in Illinois but then found out he was cheating on her. She moved out and tried to get her old apartment back in New York City but it had already been sold. She decided that it would be cheaper to stay in Illinois instead. She didn't have a lot of money being that she was about to be a single parent. Her friends and my aunt gave her lots of help with me and I was raised to be who I am today." A shy girl who Kate gets mad at Sheldon for hugging, until she finds out that she's his cousin. She also lives with him because a month ago, some blonde woman (Apsu) came into their house and stole her mom, along with Kate's grandfather. (He lives alone, apparently. His mom is dead.)
4 years prior: In reality, they are all from the planet Xena. Kate, naturally, is its princess. The Apsu Empire attacked. Kate was able to fend them off. But unfortunately, she used a lot of her energy doing do. (They didn't die though.) Astra, fearing for the safety of the 12 year old senshi, contacted Luna, brought them to Earth, wiped their memories, and placed them with new families. (Kate gets over the angst of this revelation pretty quickly, rationalizing that she has a great family and friends here on Earth.)
Connections to Canon: The Oppositio Senshi are their enemy. Nabu is a guy in this for some reason and Anshar is no longer Sin's brother, but the boyfriend of her younger sister Ishnar (who I think is a renamed Ishtar). Marduk, while disguised as a girl named Marti Apsuniante, is eventually won over and becomes friends with them. Since Apsu is using a God Mode cheat, Pluto gives Kate the choice to prevent either the attack on Xena or Sin's attack on her high school from ever happening. Kate takes a third option, and decides to go back in time to Apsu's childhood. It turns out that Apsu was the princess of the planet Pianeta (with the castle being in the city of Schicksal). The reason she is evil is because, when her planet was attacked by Galaxia, who had somehow traveled through time in search of Kate, Kate was there to convince Galaxia to let Apsu, who had the Sailor Crystal for Pianeta, live. So she gave her a pair of galactica bracelets. Her star seed had somehow gotten lost when Galaxia was defeated. But it turns out that the gold pen is actually her star seed.

Shining Healing Magic: Used to purify Marduk. "Gold light from the pen top came streaming into Marduk's face. She lifted slightly off the ground and her clothes faded away to be reaplaced with Marti's clothes. Her feet touched the ground again and she opened her eyes."
X Star Healing Touch: "Sailor X used another new attack that sent a spiraling light show bouncing off the walls of the throne room."

Annoying Traits: Sheldon (Jordan Agapeina), who is somehow the hottest and most popular guy in school even with that name, is the past life true love this time, the prince of Xena, and their protecter The Silver Knight. Astra says that they were all very powerful. Sheldon often mentions how Kate is beautiful as Sailor X.
Lisa: Soda is her version of alcohol. She gets drunk on it. What's worse, she's a lightweight. She can get drunk from one cup. It's also used as an excuse for Kate to go to a fight alone and get her ass whopped and receive a mysterious pen from an equally mysterious voice.
Comments: This author has an impeccable nack for coming up with last names... Mr. Lingua (for an English teacher), Ms. Astrum, Apsuniante, Comete...
I like the whole "Grandma was a senshi" idea though. Now I have this image of my head of some crazy cat lady living in Jersey who is secretly harboring refugees from planet Mau.

"Alright." Astra situated her self in front of Kate, laying down and curling her tail around herself. "The planet Xena, a far away planet towards the end of this solar system, was where you were roiginally born. You were a princess there. You had a lovely family and I was your guardian and guidence. You were also Sailor X, leader of a team of sailor soldiers. You were all very powerful but you were young and inexperienced. You were not ready when it happened."
"What happened?"
Astra then sat up. "I'll show you." A gold light came from the star on Astra's head. "This is what happened."
Four years earlier on Xena. The grand foyer of the palace.
"Princess!" Someone was calling. Kate turned. A rather pale woman with long white hair came running toward her. "Something is happening in the courtyard. I think you should go and see."
Kate didn't recognize the woman offhand but she had many maids and couldn't remember all their names and faces. "Shall we, Astra?" Kate looked down to her companion.
"Well...it's always good to check." Astra was a bit suspicious about this woman but if there really was trouble in the courtyard, then it needed to be stopped.
"Let us go then. Thank you for informing me, ma'am." Kate and Astra headed off for the courtyard. When they came out the door there were six people in a semi-circle.
"What's going on here?" Astra asked the group.
"I'll tell you, Princess." Kate whipped her head around and saw the white-haired woman behind her. "Your planet is being overruled."
"Who are you?" Kate demanded.
The woman transformed from the maid outfit she was wearing into a navy blue two piece outfit with a long skirt and a small top piece. There were dark purple spikes coming from behind her and she had a black spikey hair piece on the top of her head.
"I'm Apsu and my empire is taking over your planet." The woman laughed. "Surrender and I won't sick my army on you."
"Ha!" Kate said. "I hardly consider that an army. Six people? They had better have the strength of ten people each to defeat my soldiers. Sailor Team!"
Kate could feel the presence of three people behind her. "We're here, Princess," the three said.
"Oh! You haven't seen the rest of my empire." Apsu raised her arms and rows of people appeared behind the six in the front. "Now are you worried?"
"I'll give you a chance now to leave peacefully. If not, you will suffer an attack of the worst variety," Kate warned. Apsu did not move. "Fine, have it your way."
Both leaders let out a battle cry. Kate transformed and the four soldier and Astra plunged into battle with the empire. There were screams and scratches. Blood spilled all over the gardens turning every white flower red. It was an intense battle that seemed to last a lifetime. The sailor soldiers were holding up well but they were outnumbered still after hours of battle.
"Enough!" Sailor X finally cried. "It's time to unleash my secret weapon." She closed her eyes and a purple glow surrounded her. Then, a strong wind seemed to blow from below her and she was changed into her most powerful form. She now has short, round sleeves and a layered skirt in shades of purple. Her gloves were longer and instead of her tiara she had a gold star to match Astra's.
She opened her brooch and pulled the crystal from it's spot. Her Star Wand appeared in front of her and she put the crystal inside. The wand grew making the star larger and the handle longer. "I combine the power of my crystal with my wand."
"Well, your not the only one with secret weapons," Apsu yelled. She raised her arms producing a current of white energy around them until a ball of power appeared in her hands.
"Super Crystal Star Power!!!" Sailor X cried. An intense blast of purple light came from the top of her staff.
Apsu thrust her hands forward. The two beams of energy crashed head on and the netire planet was engulfed in a light purple blaze.
When everything cleared, only the front six of the Apsu empire remained and Apsu herself. The sailor soldiers had survived as well as Astra, but all but Sailor X were knocked unconsicous.
"What have you done?!" Sailor X screamed. "My planet! My people! They've been destroyed!"
"This is as much your fault as it is mine!" Apsu shouted back. "If you had just cooperated then I would have this planet to conquer in the future as well. I will get you. No matter where you run, I will be able to find you."
Apsu and the last of her empire teleported away. Sailor X was worn. She could barely keep her eyes open. She wouldn't have kept her eyes open even if she could because of the sight before her.
Astra comforted her head as she fell to the ground. "I must find a safe place for them." She ran back into the palace.
Kate snapped back into reality. She wore a serious face. This would explain that strange feeling when I remember things. "Is that really what happened?" she asked in a whisper.
"I'm afraid so." Astra came up to her and rubbed her leg like a regular cat would. Kate ran her hand down Astra's back.

Kate's grandma closed the door to the main bathroom. She had figured her granddaughter was Sailor X When she heard. After all, she looked just like her and there was that fact that she wasn't even from the family.
She decided it wasn't worth it to go back and watch the rest of the play. Instead, she left the theater and drove back home. On the way she reminisced about the day that Kate arrived.
It was October 17, 2001. Rain was pouring outside. Jane (Kate's grandma) was sitting in her daughter's living room in her New York City apartment. Her daughter was asleep in the master bedroom and Jane was watching TV.
Suddenly, a creaking sound made her jump. The front door opened and there in the door was a maroon cat with big navy blue eyes and a sparkling golden star on her forehead.
"Who are you, little one?" Jane spoke to the cat like she would any other animal.
"If you really want to know, I'm Astra and I have a favor to ask of you and your daughter." The cat sat down and curled her paws around her tail. Jane wasn't shocked seeing the talking cat, just a little surprised that there was another one out there.
"What would that be?" Jane asked of Astra. Astra used her tail to push the door open further and revealed a young girl, about a preteen age. She seemed to be in a deep trance.
"This girl needs a home and your daughter doesn't have a child. Would it be fine if she became a part of your family?"
"But why is she homeless?"
"That is not the point. If you accept her then your memories will be erased and replaced with new ones as if she were always part of the family. The same thing will happen to anyone related to you. Will you do it?"
"I don't think you'll be able to change my memories but you will be able to with the rest of the family. I accept." Jane got a smirk.
"What makes you think you could keep your memories?"
Jane flashed something that changed Astra's way of looking at her. "I had no idea. You may keep your memories, North Star."
And with that, Kate was part of the family. Everyone acted as if she was always there and she was even in some pictures. Jane pretended like she didn't know about Kate's mysterious origins but now that she knew she was Sailor X, things would definately change between them.

When it was about a half hour before the party, Kate went downstairs to Lisa's apartment. She knocked on the door and Lisa answered in a sing-song voice. "Come in!"
"It's locked!" Kate answered mocking her sing-song tone. She heard footsteps inside and the unlocking of the door. Lisa then opened the door and Kate went inside.
"Are you ready for this?" Lisa asked.
"I am if you are. I just want to warn you about-"
"Soda, right, right, I know now. I can control myself. No matter how hard it's going to be..."At Kate's last birthday party Lisa went overboard drinking soda. She was a soda fanatic! The only problem was that after one cup she had trouble controlling herself. At Kate's party, she was half-dead on the couch until the next day. It was like her way of getting drunk.
"You better control yourself," Kate warned. The last thing she needed was to carry Lisa back to one of their apartments after a party.
"Let's just finish getting ready," Lisa said. The two did each other's makeup and fixed their hair. Once they stared at themselves in the mirror for a while, they figured they were as good looking as they could get. They headed out of the apartment and to the elevator. Once reaching Bebe's floor, they stepped out and made their way to her apartment. [For those of you wondering why they're willingly going a party held by the school libby, Bebe invited them because she invited Sheldon, and he wouldn't come unless they were invited too.]
Both felt nervous. After all, they were 'unpopular' and all of Bebe's other friends were popular. If they did something stupid or embarrassing it would be all over the school by the next week. "Let's get this over with." Kate put her hand to the door and knocked.
After a minute or two Bebe finally opened the door. "Oh, it's you. Well, you might as well come in."
On the inside of Bebe's apartment, there was every popular person know in the grade and Sheldon. He waved to them. They stood with him and Bebe turned to face her guests. "Ok everyone! It looks like the party can officially begin."
Lisa went right to the snack table and started to eat everything. Kate decided to just mingle and stay away from embarrassment. She decided to peek in Bebe's bedroom. Bebe may have lived in an apartment but she was pretty well off. There was designer evrything in her room from her belts to her bedspread.
Passing by the closet Kate heard a muffled sound. She opened the door and there on the floor was Lisa tied up and gagged. Kate kneeled down and took the gag off of Lisa's mouth. [It could be worse. Bebe could've drawn a penis on her forehead in permanent marker.]
"Hey Kate, how are you, I'm just fine, the weather is just great isn't it, this party is so awesome, I wish we could stay here all night, do you mind getting me a soda, soda would be good right now, I could really use a soda..." Lisa continued to babble on about nothing. Kate knew exactly what had happened. Lisa had drank too much soda and was now on a caffeine high. Eventually she would just fall asleep and Kate would carry her home.
Kate tied the gag back on Lisa's mouth and left her in the closet. She figured it was safer for her there. A beeping noise then brought Kate into the bathroom to hide. "What's up Astra?"
"Teleport to Central Park quickly! Nabu is attacking there." Astra was quick and disappeared from the screen.
"I didn't get to tell her that Lisa's...temporarily out of commission. Oh well. X Crystal Power, Make up!" The familiar transformation overcame her and she became Sailor X. She then teleported to Central Park where Nabu was there with a strange magic trick. It looked like a regular magician who was just extremely pale. The only thing that gave away his creature-ness was the fact that he was floating.
"You refuse to give up, don't you Nabu?" Sailor X shouted up to Nabu who was also floating. Nabu looked down and let out a chuckle. "I don't find it funny that you're terrorizing these people who came for an innocent walk in the park. I'm Sailor X and in the name of the distant planet of Xena, you're going down!"
"This is exactly what we've been waiting for. Levitator, please do as we planned." Nabu disappeared and Levitator turned to Sailor X. Raising its arms, Sailor X was trapped in a bubble. Levitator's hands squeezed closed and Sailor X felt her energies being drained.
"You won't get away with this!" she called out. I wish Sailor Sun was here... Slowly she lost more and more of her consciousness and fell deeper and deeper into a sleepy-like feeling. "No...I can't lose..."

"Students and staff of Norman Thomas High School, as you know, we have had some supernatural occurrences lately in New York City, two of which were located at our our facility. Of course, we've seen the daring rescues made by our city's new heros Sailor X and Sun. However, I believe it's safer if we prepare a new systems of security do ensure that all the students are safe in case of another attack."
Kate and Lisa looked to one another with worried expressions. What wa the principal about to pull?
"First off, no one shall come into our school without proper identification," the principal began. "Second, there will be extreme caution on a daily basis with time limits on restroom visits and such. Third, and mort important, in case of another attack on our beloved school, no one will be allowed in or out of the classroom they are in at the time. You will have three minutes after the code red call to get into a classroom or safe room with a teacher if you are not in one at the time of the signal."
"This isn't good, Kate," Lisa whispered.
"You think I don't know that?" Kate replied, also hushed. "Let's just hope that Nabu doesn't plan on attacking NTH anytime soon."
"That will be all for today. We will star holding practice drills next week but you won't know whether or not they are a drill. Have a good rest of the day and remember, it's up to you whether or not you live it right."
[Snip]
"Code Red! Code Red!" the voice on the intercom said. Everyone scrambled to their positions just like they had been told. This was only a drill, but Kate and Lisa were still frazzled by it.
"Everyone in the back corner and don't make a sound!" the teacher said. A few minute later the phone rang and the teacher said that all were accounted for.
"This isn't good, Lisa," Kate whispered. "Look at how tight it is. There's no way we could sneak away."
"Truth. I don't know what we'll do if something happens for real." They sat there with the rest of their class, huddling in the back of the room. It seemed like a long time to be waiting for the 'Code Green' announcement. Then, there was another phone call.
"Yes?...Really?...Oh my gosh...Yes...No...Well, I think I should...Ok...Thank you...Goodbye." The teacher hung up and turned back to his students. "Not to alarm anyone, but we just happen to have an actual issue going on. We'll be safe here until the Sailor soldiers make their move. For now, just relax." [So, they find out that an actual emergency is happening and they decide to completely disregard the safety precautions that they set in place? Of course, there was one time where there was an actual (small) fire at my school, and everyone completely disregarded the whole 'stay calm and walk to the nearest exit' thing when they saw the smoke.]
Kate and Lisa's eyes went wide. They looked at Sheldon who was not as scared. It was a matter of dying or revealing their secret. There was no other choice.
The two stood and faced their class. "Everyone," Kate began. "We're not safe yet. We won't be until the Sailor soldiers attack back and there's no way they can if...we're stuck in here."
"What Kate's saying is...there's no other way to tell you so we'll just show you." Lisa took out her pen and Kate took out her brooch. "Sun Crystal Power..."
"X Crystal Power..."
"MAKE UP!!"
They transformed before the shocked and wide-eyed class and teacher. Sheldon seemed the most surprised. He stood and approached Sailor X. "Kate, why didn't you tell me?"
"It's better that you didn't know." Sailor X turned to Sailor Sun and they nodded. "If you don't mind, Mr. Beginne, we'd like to go."
"Of course." Mr. Beginne unlocked the door and opened it for them. "And not to worry. Your secret is safe with us." Kate and Lisa smiled.
[Snip]
"You brats really get on my nerves! Let's get out of here, Nergal." Nabu and Nergal took hands and left. Sailor X and Sun high-fived and looked to the group of grateful students.
"Uh...Stay in school!" Sailor X said and the two ran off back to their classroom. When they got there, the students and Mr. Beginne cheered for them. "Thanks everyone. It's just that...I wish we hadn't revealed our secret to you guys."
A shining light then came out of Sailor X's pocket (yes their skirts have pockets) [Of course. They stuff it in their underwear. ...I'm sorry.]. She pulled out the golden pen that the strange voice had given her. The top was glowing and then it suddenly filled the whole room with light. "What the..." Just as suddenly as the light had appeared, it disappeared, leaving Sailor X and Sun standing in the room with a bunch of confused classmates.
"Oh my gosh! It's the Sailor soldiers!" cried out one girl. "Can we have your autograph?"
"Who are you really?" said another person. Sailor X and Sun looked to each other and shrugged their shoulders. They decided there was no harm in giving out a few autographs. Once everyone had a signed piece of paper, the two left, detransformed and quietly returned to the classroom as if they had been there the whole time.
"What was that pen, Kate?" Lisa asked later on.
Kate explained the mysterious voice and how she had been floating in the stars after Nabu attacked the week before. "And I got the pen. I don't know what it's for, but the voice said I might need it someday."
"Oh well. Eventually we'll figure it out."[I'm pretty sure we just found out that it was one of the pens from Men in Black]

Another day or two passed. Kate was getting very anxious. Though she was actually enjoying her time in Schicksal with the little Apsu, she knew that eventually she would have to go back. If she stayed for any significant amount of time, then people would notice that she had spontaneously turned 17 or something along those lines. She decided that if something didn't happen within a week, she would have to give up and leave.
What am I going to do?
The sounds of many pounding footsteps approached Apsu's room, where Kate and she were playing. The King and some servants burst into the room.
"Miss Kate, may I talk to you outside for a moment?" the King addressed her. Kate glanced at Apsu who nodded as if to say 'I'll wait.' and Kate got up and left with her father. Once out in the hallway, he explained what the trouble was. "We've just gotten word that...she...is on her way here."
Kate cocked her head to one side. "She?"
"It doesn't matter. I just want you to make sure that you are ready to protect Apsu at the cost of your life. I wanted to make you a-" He paused, shifting his eyes back and forth a few times. "-a Sailor soldier." Kate was taken aback. They had no Sailor soldiers already?
"Actually, sir, I am already a soldier." Kate took her brooch from her pocket. The King and his servants gasped. "I really didn't feel a need to tell you because there wasn't any trouble here."
"Well, you see, she has only been attacking planets with Sailor soldiers. We've known this was coming for a long time. Our prophets foretold this attack for so long that we haven't had Sailor soldiers to defend us for generations. If she can see the shine of a Sailor soldier then that must be why she is coming here."
"I'm sorry, I didn't know!" Kate was worried they would be angry but they remained calm.
"Miss Kate, I do wish that you could help us, but I believe that you will only hinder us if you stay. I'm sorry, but I think you must leave."
"I-I could help you! I could defeat 'her' and then you would be ok!"
"There is no other choice. You must leave at once. I will let you say your goodbyes to my daughter and then you will go." The King turned and left with his servants on his heels. Kate hung her head. Apsu would be crushed and she would never find out why she was evil in the future.
The door creaked as she opened it, returning to Apsu's room. Apsu was standing next to the door with a sad look on her face. "You have to go?"
"I wish I didn't have to, but..." Apsu put a pale hand up to silence her friend. For once she acted like a true young princess. A little lady with more wisdom than you would think.
"Just remember that if she doesn't defeat us, you can always come back, whenever you want to." The girl tried to smile, but could only cry. It started slowly and then became stronger and stronger until she was sobbing uncontrollabley. All Kate could do was wrap her arms around her and cry wit her. That night, she would be using the Time-Space Key to return to the Gates of Time so she could accept her defeated fate.

"Time Guardian! Tear apart the sky, and-" Kate stopped, mid-sentence while holding up the key when she heard screaming. People were running from their houses and streaming past her. She must be here!
Golden light that seemed sweet underneath covered the bare expanse of dirt that was the ground of Schicksal. A woman dressed in golden armor that resembled a Sailor uniform came flying from the horizon. She was wearing a strange Cleopatra-like gold head piece. [I always saw it more as a samurai get-up personally.]
Her amber eyes glowed with evil and her laugh rang through the town. "Give up your Star Seeds, pathetic people! I know there is a senshi among you. I must have the pure Star Seed!" She spoke with the same accent as the Gate guard and the voice who had given Kate the gold pen. 'She' shot yellow energy disks from her wrists and flowers appeared above the heads of the people she hit. The flowers would open and a diamond would shine for a moment before turning black and changing the person into a strange creature.
"The Golden Queen Galaxia demands that you surrender yourself immidiately!" She began to head toward the castle. Apsu came running out calling Kate's name. The King came out and grabbed Apsu but she escaped his grasp and ran looking for her 'big sister'. When she spotted Kate, she ran right over and held her tight.
"Apsu, get out of here! You're in danger!" Galaxia headed toward the pair. "Go, Apsu!" Apsu refused to listen so Kate pulled her off and got in front of her.
"So, a little girl and a littler girl trying to run away. I don't think so!" Galaxia shot out two more disk of light.
Kate grasped her brooch. "X Crystal Pow-"
The disks were too fast. She was going to get hit. She had no idea what would happen afterward, but she really didn't want to find out. There was no place to run, though, because Galaxia could easily follow. Just as they were about to hit her, a little body jumped in the way.
"APSU!"
Apsu fell to the ground, the flower of her Star Seed opening. The diamond shone and shone with a familiar light, never blackening. "HAHA!!" Galaxia laughed. "So you are the senshi I've been looking for. I'll take that Star Seed." The Star Seed floated into Galaxia's open hand. She turned to leave, her job done when Kate called out to her.
"Please! You can't let her die! You'll be seriously altering the future!" Galaxia laughed at this and kept going. Apsu's little body began to fade. "It could prevent you from ruling the universe!" At this, Galaxia turned.
"How can you be sure?"
"If this girl had a...pure Star Seed then don't you think she's important enough to live?"
Galaxia thought for a moment, then she said, "Fine!" Snapping her fingers, two gold bracelets appeared. They had purple gems on them and were open. "Snap these onto her and she will live. However, she will be evil! Isn't that just great? MUAHAHA!!" [Compared to other fics I've seen, I thought this twist was actually somewhat clever... until this part.]
Taking the gold bracelets, Kate snapped them onto Apsu's ankles. She stopped fading and moaned but remained unconcious.
Starting to leave again, Galaxia turned once more. "Oh! I almost forgot. You die too!" She sent another two energy disks in Kate's direction.
"X Crystal Power, Make up!!" Kate quickly shouted and transformed. She grasped the Time-Space key tight and started to call out the words. "Time Guardian! Tear apart the sky, and open the space-time door to me! Reveal to me the path of light!" A cloud opened above Sailor X and she foated upwards.
"You're the senshi I was looking for?" Galaxia laughed once more. "I missed my target and still got what I wanted!" She came flying after Sailor X but it was too late, for the cloud had closed behind her.

Sailor X came out of the Time Gates to meet face to face with the mystery soldier. Up close she could see that she had dark green hair and a dark colored uniform.
Everything was rushing through Sailor X's mind. Now they had another enemy to deal with! This Galaxia couldn't go around doing what she did in Schicksal.
"Galaxia! She's the reason that Apsu is evil. Those bracelets! I have to stop Galaxia now, too?!" Kate had detransformed and was rambling on to the woman. She put a gloved finger to her lips.
"It's ok. We defeated with Galaxia long before that point in time happened. Heaven only knows how she managed to time trvel but still, she was dealt with accordingly. The one thing I don't understand is how Apsu still doesn't have her Star Seed back. Unless...
"Because Apsu's Star Seed wasn't taken from her until about six years after we defeated Galaxia, it got lost and couldn't make it back to her. It must still be out there somewhere. Kate, whatever you do, you must not remove those bracelets or Apsu will die. Not until you fin the Star Seed that was once hers."
A warm gold light suddenly flooded the area. Kate removed the pen from her pocket and it floated for a second on its own becoming a Star Seed. "This..."
"This is Apsu's Star Seed." The voice who had originally gave Kate the pen had returned. "I gave it to you because I knew the sort of power it held. I also knew when the time came that you would be able to return it to Apsu and that things would be ok. Be careful with it now. And thanks for saving Earth." The sound vanished once more. The strange soldier had looked into the fog as if she was in shock. Like she knew the voice but hadn't heard it for a long time.
Kate folded her hands over the Star Seed. "I'm ready to return to my present and finish this thing."

As soon as Sailor X returned to the battle scene, time began to move once more. She made sure to position herself right near Apsu and to show no fear. "Apsu!" she said when things were fully moving again.
"ACK! How in the world!?" Apsu lost control of her weapons when she was surprised. They clanked to the floor.
"Apsu, do you remember me?" Sailor X was sentimental. "Do you remember when we played together in your castle in Schicksal? When we took the trip to Hoffnugg? Apsu, remember the good times! Remember how things were before Galaxia!" Sailor X ducked as Apsu swiped a hand at her.
"I don't remember anything!" Her voice echoed off the walls. "I remember nothing but my destiny to rule the universe!"
"Stop, Apsu! What would the King say if he saw you now?!"
"There was nothing before this!"
"Remember your big sister!"
Apsu's eyes flashed guilt and sorrow. The orange flare of rage died from them and she let her arms down. "I recall a girl...Someone I looked up to who I knew only for a short time."
"It was me. And I have a way to prove it to you." Sailor X opened her hands and the Star Seed floated toward her enemy. "This is your Star Seed. It was stolen from you when you were younger and you got these bracelets." Lifting the long black material of Apsu's dress, Sailor X saw that the bracelets were still locked in place. "You can make everything go back to normal. Just take back your Star Seed."
"I...I..." The softness disappeared from Apsu's eyes and she was enraged again. "Never!" Throwing her arm out, she made Sailor X fly off in another direction. All of her friends went to her.
"What the heck is going on here?!" Sailor Sun cried. "You've known Apsu all this time?"
"I'll explain if we survive. You guys have to help me calm her so she accepts the Star Seed!" Sailor X stood. "Apsu! We'll bring you back! X Crystal Power!"
"Sun Crystal Power!"
"Nova Crystal Power!"
"Comet Crystal Power!"
"X Star Healing Touch!!" Sailor X used another new attack that sent a spiraling light show bouncing off the walls of the throne room. Apsu cried out and fell to the ground. A metallic sound on the floor signaled that the bracelets had come off. No! I didn't give her the Star Seed!
Sailor X ran over to Apsu who was fading. "I remember it now. All of it. My best friend ever. You haven't changed at all!" Apsu smiled and Kate could see the little girl inside her once more. "I can't believe this. I destroyed your entire planet and I almost destroyed your entire second planet."
"It's ok! Because so much has happened. I wouldn't change anything that happened since I became a Sailor soldier. Not one thing. Now, take this Star Seed and be good again!" The Star Seed melted into Apsu's chest and she stopped fading away. Her eyes fluttered open and she sat up.
"I just love happy endings!" sobbed Heather. She turned to her daughter who hugged her tight, finally seeing each other again. Sailor X went to everyone and hugged them. She knew her grandmother would be estatic to see Chester again. Everything was falling into place just like it was supposed to. The timeline she walked was one that she would never change, even if her life depended on it.

4 years prior: In reality, they are all from the planet Xena. Kate, naturally, is its princess. The Apsu Empire attacked. Kate was able to fend them off. But unfortunately, she used a lot of her energy doing do. (They didn't die though.) Astra, fearing for the safety of the 12 year old senshi, contacted Luna, brought them to Earth, wiped their memories, and placed them with new families. (Kate gets over the angst of this revelation pretty quickly, rationalizing that she has a great family and friends here on Earth.)
Connections to Canon: The Oppositio Senshi are their enemy. Nabu is a guy in this for some reason and Anshar is no longer Sin's brother, but the boyfriend of her younger sister Ishnar (who I think is a renamed Ishtar). Marduk, while disguised as a girl named Marti Apsuniante, is eventually won over and becomes friends with them. Since Apsu is using a God Mode cheat, Pluto gives Kate the choice to prevent either the attack on Xena or Sin's attack on her high school from ever happening. Kate takes a third option, and decides to go back in time to Apsu's childhood. It turns out that Apsu was the princess of the planet Pianeta (with the castle being in the city of Schicksal). The reason she is evil is because, when her planet was attacked by Galaxia, who had somehow traveled through time in search of Kate, Kate was there to convince Galaxia to let Apsu, who had the Sailor Crystal for Pianeta, live. So she gave her a pair of galactica bracelets. Her star seed had somehow gotten lost when Galaxia was defeated. But it turns out that the gold pen is actually her star seed.

Lisa: Soda is her version of alcohol. She gets drunk on it. What's worse, she's a lightweight. She can get drunk from one cup. It's also used as an excuse for Kate to go to a fight alone and get her ass whopped and receive a mysterious pen from an equally mysterious voice.

I like the whole "Grandma was a senshi" idea though. Now I have this image of my head of some crazy cat lady living in Jersey who is secretly harboring refugees from planet Mau.

"The planet Xena, a far away planet towards the end of this solar system, was where you were roiginally born. You were a princess there. You had a lovely family and I was your guardian and guidence. You were also Sailor X, leader of a team of sailor soldiers. You were all very powerful but you were young and inexperienced. You were not ready when it happened."
"What happened?"
Astra then sat up. "I'll show you." A gold light came from the star on Astra's head. "This is what happened."
Four years earlier on Xena. The grand foyer of the palace.
"Princess!" Someone was calling. Kate turned. A rather pale woman with long white hair came running toward her. "Something is happening in the courtyard. I think you should go and see."
Kate didn't recognize the woman offhand but she had many maids and couldn't remember all their names and faces. "Shall we, Astra?" Kate looked down to her companion.
"Well...it's always good to check." Astra was a bit suspicious about this woman but if there really was trouble in the courtyard, then it needed to be stopped.
"Let us go then. Thank you for informing me, ma'am." Kate and Astra headed off for the courtyard. When they came out the door there were six people in a semi-circle.
"What's going on here?" Astra asked the group.
"I'll tell you, Princess." Kate whipped her head around and saw the white-haired woman behind her. "Your planet is being overruled."
"Who are you?" Kate demanded.
The woman transformed from the maid outfit she was wearing into a navy blue two piece outfit with a long skirt and a small top piece. There were dark purple spikes coming from behind her and she had a black spikey hair piece on the top of her head.
"I'm Apsu and my empire is taking over your planet." The woman laughed. "Surrender and I won't sick my army on you."
"Ha!" Kate said. "I hardly consider that an army. Six people? They had better have the strength of ten people each to defeat my soldiers. Sailor Team!"
Kate could feel the presence of three people behind her. "We're here, Princess," the three said.
"Oh! You haven't seen the rest of my empire." Apsu raised her arms and rows of people appeared behind the six in the front. "Now are you worried?"
"I'll give you a chance now to leave peacefully. If not, you will suffer an attack of the worst variety," Kate warned. Apsu did not move. "Fine, have it your way."
Both leaders let out a battle cry. Kate transformed and the four soldier and Astra plunged into battle with the empire. There were screams and scratches. Blood spilled all over the gardens turning every white flower red. It was an intense battle that seemed to last a lifetime. The sailor soldiers were holding up well but they were outnumbered still after hours of battle.
"Enough!" Sailor X finally cried. "It's time to unleash my secret weapon." She closed her eyes and a purple glow surrounded her. Then, a strong wind seemed to blow from below her and she was changed into her most powerful form. She now has short, round sleeves and a layered skirt in shades of purple. Her gloves were longer and instead of her tiara she had a gold star to match Astra's.
She opened her brooch and pulled the crystal from it's spot. Her Star Wand appeared in front of her and she put the crystal inside. The wand grew making the star larger and the handle longer. "I combine the power of my crystal with my wand."
"Well, your not the only one with secret weapons," Apsu yelled. She raised her arms producing a current of white energy around them until a ball of power appeared in her hands.
"Super Crystal Star Power!!!" Sailor X cried. An intense blast of purple light came from the top of her staff.
Apsu thrust her hands forward. The two beams of energy crashed head on and the netire planet was engulfed in a light purple blaze.
When everything cleared, only the front six of the Apsu empire remained and Apsu herself. The sailor soldiers had survived as well as Astra, but all but Sailor X were knocked unconsicous.
"What have you done?!" Sailor X screamed. "My planet! My people! They've been destroyed!"
"This is as much your fault as it is mine!" Apsu shouted back. "If you had just cooperated then I would have this planet to conquer in the future as well. I will get you. No matter where you run, I will be able to find you."
Apsu and the last of her empire teleported away. Sailor X was worn. She could barely keep her eyes open. She wouldn't have kept her eyes open even if she could because of the sight before her.
Astra comforted her head as she fell to the ground. "I must find a safe place for them." She ran back into the palace.
Kate snapped back into reality. She wore a serious face. This would explain that strange feeling when I remember things. "Is that really what happened?" she asked in a whisper.
"I'm afraid so." Astra came up to her and rubbed her leg like a regular cat would. Kate ran her hand down Astra's back.

Kate's grandma closed the door to the main bathroom. She had figured her granddaughter was Sailor X When she heard. After all, she looked just like her and there was that fact that she wasn't even from the family.
She decided it wasn't worth it to go back and watch the rest of the play. Instead, she left the theater and drove back home. On the way she reminisced about the day that Kate arrived.
It was October 17, 2001. Rain was pouring outside. Jane (Kate's grandma) was sitting in her daughter's living room in her New York City apartment. Her daughter was asleep in the master bedroom and Jane was watching TV.
Suddenly, a creaking sound made her jump. The front door opened and there in the door was a maroon cat with big navy blue eyes and a sparkling golden star on her forehead.
"Who are you, little one?" Jane spoke to the cat like she would any other animal.
"If you really want to know, I'm Astra and I have a favor to ask of you and your daughter." The cat sat down and curled her paws around her tail. Jane wasn't shocked seeing the talking cat, just a little surprised that there was another one out there.
"What would that be?" Jane asked of Astra. Astra used her tail to push the door open further and revealed a young girl, about a preteen age. She seemed to be in a deep trance.
"This girl needs a home and your daughter doesn't have a child. Would it be fine if she became a part of your family?"
"But why is she homeless?"
"That is not the point. If you accept her then your memories will be erased and replaced with new ones as if she were always part of the family. The same thing will happen to anyone related to you. Will you do it?"
"I don't think you'll be able to change my memories but you will be able to with the rest of the family. I accept." Jane got a smirk.
"What makes you think you could keep your memories?"
Jane flashed something that changed Astra's way of looking at her. "I had no idea. You may keep your memories, North Star."
And with that, Kate was part of the family. Everyone acted as if she was always there and she was even in some pictures. Jane pretended like she didn't know about Kate's mysterious origins but now that she knew she was Sailor X, things would definately change between them.

When it was about a half hour before the party, Kate went downstairs to Lisa's apartment. She knocked on the door and Lisa answered in a sing-song voice. "Come in!"
"It's locked!" Kate answered mocking her sing-song tone. She heard footsteps inside and the unlocking of the door. Lisa then opened the door and Kate went inside.
"Are you ready for this?" Lisa asked.
"I am if you are. I just want to warn you about-"
"Soda, right, right, I know now. I can control myself. No matter how hard it's going to be..."At Kate's last birthday party Lisa went overboard drinking soda. She was a soda fanatic! The only problem was that after one cup she had trouble controlling herself. At Kate's party, she was half-dead on the couch until the next day. It was like her way of getting drunk.
"You better control yourself," Kate warned. The last thing she needed was to carry Lisa back to one of their apartments after a party.
"Let's just finish getting ready," Lisa said. The two did each other's makeup and fixed their hair. Once they stared at themselves in the mirror for a while, they figured they were as good looking as they could get. They headed out of the apartment and to the elevator. Once reaching Bebe's floor, they stepped out and made their way to her apartment. [For those of you wondering why they're willingly going a party held by the school libby, Bebe invited them because she invited Sheldon, and he wouldn't come unless they were invited too.]
Both felt nervous. After all, they were 'unpopular' and all of Bebe's other friends were popular. If they did something stupid or embarrassing it would be all over the school by the next week. "Let's get this over with." Kate put her hand to the door and knocked.
After a minute or two Bebe finally opened the door. "Oh, it's you. Well, you might as well come in."
On the inside of Bebe's apartment, there was every popular person know in the grade and Sheldon. He waved to them. They stood with him and Bebe turned to face her guests. "Ok everyone! It looks like the party can officially begin."
Lisa went right to the snack table and started to eat everything. Kate decided to just mingle and stay away from embarrassment. She decided to peek in Bebe's bedroom. Bebe may have lived in an apartment but she was pretty well off. There was designer evrything in her room from her belts to her bedspread.
Passing by the closet Kate heard a muffled sound. She opened the door and there on the floor was Lisa tied up and gagged. Kate kneeled down and took the gag off of Lisa's mouth. [It could be worse. Bebe could've drawn a penis on her forehead in permanent marker.]
"Hey Kate, how are you, I'm just fine, the weather is just great isn't it, this party is so awesome, I wish we could stay here all night, do you mind getting me a soda, soda would be good right now, I could really use a soda..." Lisa continued to babble on about nothing. Kate knew exactly what had happened. Lisa had drank too much soda and was now on a caffeine high. Eventually she would just fall asleep and Kate would carry her home.
Kate tied the gag back on Lisa's mouth and left her in the closet. She figured it was safer for her there. A beeping noise then brought Kate into the bathroom to hide. "What's up Astra?"
"Teleport to Central Park quickly! Nabu is attacking there." Astra was quick and disappeared from the screen.
"I didn't get to tell her that Lisa's...temporarily out of commission. Oh well. X Crystal Power, Make up!" The familiar transformation overcame her and she became Sailor X. She then teleported to Central Park where Nabu was there with a strange magic trick. It looked like a regular magician who was just extremely pale. The only thing that gave away his creature-ness was the fact that he was floating.
"You refuse to give up, don't you Nabu?" Sailor X shouted up to Nabu who was also floating. Nabu looked down and let out a chuckle. "I don't find it funny that you're terrorizing these people who came for an innocent walk in the park. I'm Sailor X and in the name of the distant planet of Xena, you're going down!"
"This is exactly what we've been waiting for. Levitator, please do as we planned." Nabu disappeared and Levitator turned to Sailor X. Raising its arms, Sailor X was trapped in a bubble. Levitator's hands squeezed closed and Sailor X felt her energies being drained.
"You won't get away with this!" she called out. I wish Sailor Sun was here... Slowly she lost more and more of her consciousness and fell deeper and deeper into a sleepy-like feeling. "No...I can't lose..."

"Students and staff of Norman Thomas High School, as you know, we have had some supernatural occurrences lately in New York City, two of which were located at our our facility. Of course, we've seen the daring rescues made by our city's new heros Sailor X and Sun. However, I believe it's safer if we prepare a new systems of security do ensure that all the students are safe in case of another attack."
Kate and Lisa looked to one another with worried expressions. What wa the principal about to pull?
"First off, no one shall come into our school without proper identification," the principal began. "Second, there will be extreme caution on a daily basis with time limits on restroom visits and such. Third, and mort important, in case of another attack on our beloved school, no one will be allowed in or out of the classroom they are in at the time. You will have three minutes after the code red call to get into a classroom or safe room with a teacher if you are not in one at the time of the signal."
"This isn't good, Kate," Lisa whispered.
"You think I don't know that?" Kate replied, also hushed. "Let's just hope that Nabu doesn't plan on attacking NTH anytime soon."
"That will be all for today. We will star holding practice drills next week but you won't know whether or not they are a drill. Have a good rest of the day and remember, it's up to you whether or not you live it right."
[Snip]
"Code Red! Code Red!" the voice on the intercom said. Everyone scrambled to their positions just like they had been told. This was only a drill, but Kate and Lisa were still frazzled by it.
"Everyone in the back corner and don't make a sound!" the teacher said. A few minute later the phone rang and the teacher said that all were accounted for.
"This isn't good, Lisa," Kate whispered. "Look at how tight it is. There's no way we could sneak away."
"Truth. I don't know what we'll do if something happens for real." They sat there with the rest of their class, huddling in the back of the room. It seemed like a long time to be waiting for the 'Code Green' announcement. Then, there was another phone call.
"Yes?...Really?...Oh my gosh...Yes...No...Well, I think I should...Ok...Thank you...Goodbye." The teacher hung up and turned back to his students. "Not to alarm anyone, but we just happen to have an actual issue going on. We'll be safe here until the Sailor soldiers make their move. For now, just relax." [So, they find out that an actual emergency is happening and they decide to completely disregard the safety precautions that they set in place? Of course, there was one time where there was an actual (small) fire at my school, and everyone completely disregarded the whole 'stay calm and walk to the nearest exit' thing when they saw the smoke.]
Kate and Lisa's eyes went wide. They looked at Sheldon who was not as scared. It was a matter of dying or revealing their secret. There was no other choice.
The two stood and faced their class. "Everyone," Kate began. "We're not safe yet. We won't be until the Sailor soldiers attack back and there's no way they can if...we're stuck in here."
"What Kate's saying is...there's no other way to tell you so we'll just show you." Lisa took out her pen and Kate took out her brooch. "Sun Crystal Power..."
"X Crystal Power..."
"MAKE UP!!"
They transformed before the shocked and wide-eyed class and teacher. Sheldon seemed the most surprised. He stood and approached Sailor X. "Kate, why didn't you tell me?"
"It's better that you didn't know." Sailor X turned to Sailor Sun and they nodded. "If you don't mind, Mr. Beginne, we'd like to go."
"Of course." Mr. Beginne unlocked the door and opened it for them. "And not to worry. Your secret is safe with us." Kate and Lisa smiled.
[Snip]
"You brats really get on my nerves! Let's get out of here, Nergal." Nabu and Nergal took hands and left. Sailor X and Sun high-fived and looked to the group of grateful students.
"Uh...Stay in school!" Sailor X said and the two ran off back to their classroom. When they got there, the students and Mr. Beginne cheered for them. "Thanks everyone. It's just that...I wish we hadn't revealed our secret to you guys."
A shining light then came out of Sailor X's pocket (yes their skirts have pockets) [Of course. They stuff it in their underwear. ...I'm sorry.]. She pulled out the golden pen that the strange voice had given her. The top was glowing and then it suddenly filled the whole room with light. "What the..." Just as suddenly as the light had appeared, it disappeared, leaving Sailor X and Sun standing in the room with a bunch of confused classmates.
"Oh my gosh! It's the Sailor soldiers!" cried out one girl. "Can we have your autograph?"
"Who are you really?" said another person. Sailor X and Sun looked to each other and shrugged their shoulders. They decided there was no harm in giving out a few autographs. Once everyone had a signed piece of paper, the two left, detransformed and quietly returned to the classroom as if they had been there the whole time.
"What was that pen, Kate?" Lisa asked later on.
Kate explained the mysterious voice and how she had been floating in the stars after Nabu attacked the week before. "And I got the pen. I don't know what it's for, but the voice said I might need it someday."
"Oh well. Eventually we'll figure it out."[I'm pretty sure we just found out that it was one of the pens from Men in Black]

Another day or two passed. Kate was getting very anxious. Though she was actually enjoying her time in Schicksal with the little Apsu, she knew that eventually she would have to go back. If she stayed for any significant amount of time, then people would notice that she had spontaneously turned 17 or something along those lines. She decided that if something didn't happen within a week, she would have to give up and leave.
What am I going to do?
The sounds of many pounding footsteps approached Apsu's room, where Kate and she were playing. The King and some servants burst into the room.
"Miss Kate, may I talk to you outside for a moment?" the King addressed her. Kate glanced at Apsu who nodded as if to say 'I'll wait.' and Kate got up and left with her father. Once out in the hallway, he explained what the trouble was. "We've just gotten word that...she...is on her way here."
Kate cocked her head to one side. "She?"
"It doesn't matter. I just want you to make sure that you are ready to protect Apsu at the cost of your life. I wanted to make you a-" He paused, shifting his eyes back and forth a few times. "-a Sailor soldier." Kate was taken aback. They had no Sailor soldiers already?
"Actually, sir, I am already a soldier." Kate took her brooch from her pocket. The King and his servants gasped. "I really didn't feel a need to tell you because there wasn't any trouble here."
"Well, you see, she has only been attacking planets with Sailor soldiers. We've known this was coming for a long time. Our prophets foretold this attack for so long that we haven't had Sailor soldiers to defend us for generations. If she can see the shine of a Sailor soldier then that must be why she is coming here."
"I'm sorry, I didn't know!" Kate was worried they would be angry but they remained calm.
"Miss Kate, I do wish that you could help us, but I believe that you will only hinder us if you stay. I'm sorry, but I think you must leave."
"I-I could help you! I could defeat 'her' and then you would be ok!"
"There is no other choice. You must leave at once. I will let you say your goodbyes to my daughter and then you will go." The King turned and left with his servants on his heels. Kate hung her head. Apsu would be crushed and she would never find out why she was evil in the future.
The door creaked as she opened it, returning to Apsu's room. Apsu was standing next to the door with a sad look on her face. "You have to go?"
"I wish I didn't have to, but..." Apsu put a pale hand up to silence her friend. For once she acted like a true young princess. A little lady with more wisdom than you would think.
"Just remember that if she doesn't defeat us, you can always come back, whenever you want to." The girl tried to smile, but could only cry. It started slowly and then became stronger and stronger until she was sobbing uncontrollabley. All Kate could do was wrap her arms around her and cry wit her. That night, she would be using the Time-Space Key to return to the Gates of Time so she could accept her defeated fate.

"Time Guardian! Tear apart the sky, and-" Kate stopped, mid-sentence while holding up the key when she heard screaming. People were running from their houses and streaming past her. She must be here!
Golden light that seemed sweet underneath covered the bare expanse of dirt that was the ground of Schicksal. A woman dressed in golden armor that resembled a Sailor uniform came flying from the horizon. She was wearing a strange Cleopatra-like gold head piece. [I always saw it more as a samurai get-up personally.]
Her amber eyes glowed with evil and her laugh rang through the town. "Give up your Star Seeds, pathetic people! I know there is a senshi among you. I must have the pure Star Seed!" She spoke with the same accent as the Gate guard and the voice who had given Kate the gold pen. 'She' shot yellow energy disks from her wrists and flowers appeared above the heads of the people she hit. The flowers would open and a diamond would shine for a moment before turning black and changing the person into a strange creature.
"The Golden Queen Galaxia demands that you surrender yourself immidiately!" She began to head toward the castle. Apsu came running out calling Kate's name. The King came out and grabbed Apsu but she escaped his grasp and ran looking for her 'big sister'. When she spotted Kate, she ran right over and held her tight.
"Apsu, get out of here! You're in danger!" Galaxia headed toward the pair. "Go, Apsu!" Apsu refused to listen so Kate pulled her off and got in front of her.
"So, a little girl and a littler girl trying to run away. I don't think so!" Galaxia shot out two more disk of light.
Kate grasped her brooch. "X Crystal Pow-"
The disks were too fast. She was going to get hit. She had no idea what would happen afterward, but she really didn't want to find out. There was no place to run, though, because Galaxia could easily follow. Just as they were about to hit her, a little body jumped in the way.
"APSU!"
Apsu fell to the ground, the flower of her Star Seed opening. The diamond shone and shone with a familiar light, never blackening. "HAHA!!" Galaxia laughed. "So you are the senshi I've been looking for. I'll take that Star Seed." The Star Seed floated into Galaxia's open hand. She turned to leave, her job done when Kate called out to her.
"Please! You can't let her die! You'll be seriously altering the future!" Galaxia laughed at this and kept going. Apsu's little body began to fade. "It could prevent you from ruling the universe!" At this, Galaxia turned.
"How can you be sure?"
"If this girl had a...pure Star Seed then don't you think she's important enough to live?"
Galaxia thought for a moment, then she said, "Fine!" Snapping her fingers, two gold bracelets appeared. They had purple gems on them and were open. "Snap these onto her and she will live. However, she will be evil! Isn't that just great? MUAHAHA!!" [Compared to other fics I've seen, I thought this twist was actually somewhat clever... until this part.]
Taking the gold bracelets, Kate snapped them onto Apsu's ankles. She stopped fading and moaned but remained unconcious.
Starting to leave again, Galaxia turned once more. "Oh! I almost forgot. You die too!" She sent another two energy disks in Kate's direction.
"X Crystal Power, Make up!!" Kate quickly shouted and transformed. She grasped the Time-Space key tight and started to call out the words. "Time Guardian! Tear apart the sky, and open the space-time door to me! Reveal to me the path of light!" A cloud opened above Sailor X and she foated upwards.
"You're the senshi I was looking for?" Galaxia laughed once more. "I missed my target and still got what I wanted!" She came flying after Sailor X but it was too late, for the cloud had closed behind her.

Sailor X came out of the Time Gates to meet face to face with the mystery soldier. Up close she could see that she had dark green hair and a dark colored uniform.
Everything was rushing through Sailor X's mind. Now they had another enemy to deal with! This Galaxia couldn't go around doing what she did in Schicksal.
"Galaxia! She's the reason that Apsu is evil. Those bracelets! I have to stop Galaxia now, too?!" Kate had detransformed and was rambling on to the woman. She put a gloved finger to her lips.
"It's ok. We defeated with Galaxia long before that point in time happened. Heaven only knows how she managed to time trvel but still, she was dealt with accordingly. The one thing I don't understand is how Apsu still doesn't have her Star Seed back. Unless...
"Because Apsu's Star Seed wasn't taken from her until about six years after we defeated Galaxia, it got lost and couldn't make it back to her. It must still be out there somewhere. Kate, whatever you do, you must not remove those bracelets or Apsu will die. Not until you fin the Star Seed that was once hers."
A warm gold light suddenly flooded the area. Kate removed the pen from her pocket and it floated for a second on its own becoming a Star Seed. "This..."
"This is Apsu's Star Seed." The voice who had originally gave Kate the pen had returned. "I gave it to you because I knew the sort of power it held. I also knew when the time came that you would be able to return it to Apsu and that things would be ok. Be careful with it now. And thanks for saving Earth." The sound vanished once more. The strange soldier had looked into the fog as if she was in shock. Like she knew the voice but hadn't heard it for a long time.
Kate folded her hands over the Star Seed. "I'm ready to return to my present and finish this thing."

As soon as Sailor X returned to the battle scene, time began to move once more. She made sure to position herself right near Apsu and to show no fear. "Apsu!" she said when things were fully moving again.
"ACK! How in the world!?" Apsu lost control of her weapons when she was surprised. They clanked to the floor.
"Apsu, do you remember me?" Sailor X was sentimental. "Do you remember when we played together in your castle in Schicksal? When we took the trip to Hoffnugg? Apsu, remember the good times! Remember how things were before Galaxia!" Sailor X ducked as Apsu swiped a hand at her.
"I don't remember anything!" Her voice echoed off the walls. "I remember nothing but my destiny to rule the universe!"
"Stop, Apsu! What would the King say if he saw you now?!"
"There was nothing before this!"
"Remember your big sister!"
Apsu's eyes flashed guilt and sorrow. The orange flare of rage died from them and she let her arms down. "I recall a girl...Someone I looked up to who I knew only for a short time."
"It was me. And I have a way to prove it to you." Sailor X opened her hands and the Star Seed floated toward her enemy. "This is your Star Seed. It was stolen from you when you were younger and you got these bracelets." Lifting the long black material of Apsu's dress, Sailor X saw that the bracelets were still locked in place. "You can make everything go back to normal. Just take back your Star Seed."
"I...I..." The softness disappeared from Apsu's eyes and she was enraged again. "Never!" Throwing her arm out, she made Sailor X fly off in another direction. All of her friends went to her.
"What the heck is going on here?!" Sailor Sun cried. "You've known Apsu all this time?"
"I'll explain if we survive. You guys have to help me calm her so she accepts the Star Seed!" Sailor X stood. "Apsu! We'll bring you back! X Crystal Power!"
"Sun Crystal Power!"
"Nova Crystal Power!"
"Comet Crystal Power!"
"X Star Healing Touch!!" Sailor X used another new attack that sent a spiraling light show bouncing off the walls of the throne room. Apsu cried out and fell to the ground. A metallic sound on the floor signaled that the bracelets had come off. No! I didn't give her the Star Seed!
Sailor X ran over to Apsu who was fading. "I remember it now. All of it. My best friend ever. You haven't changed at all!" Apsu smiled and Kate could see the little girl inside her once more. "I can't believe this. I destroyed your entire planet and I almost destroyed your entire second planet."
"It's ok! Because so much has happened. I wouldn't change anything that happened since I became a Sailor soldier. Not one thing. Now, take this Star Seed and be good again!" The Star Seed melted into Apsu's chest and she stopped fading away. Her eyes fluttered open and she sat up.
"I just love happy endings!" sobbed Heather. She turned to her daughter who hugged her tight, finally seeing each other again. Sailor X went to everyone and hugged them. She knew her grandmother would be estatic to see Chester again. Everything was falling into place just like it was supposed to. The timeline she walked was one that she would never change, even if her life depended on it.
