Title: Elemental Goddess
Writer: diamant88
Summary: From FanimeWorld: "The anime is about Jessica, Nadine, Tina, Susan, and Stephanie who are all Elemental Goddess, Sailor Solders with powers corresponding to their element. With their powers, they must defeat the evil forces that attack Earth and along the way learn dark secret and face perilous trials."
Canon: Dub?
Rating: 2

Name: Jessica, Stephanie, Tina, Nadine, Susan, Mandana
Senshi Title: Queen of Fire/Light, Queen of Water, Queen of Lightning, Queen of Flowers, Queen of Ice, Queen of Goodness/Virtue (They also just go by their first names. Even in the villains know who they are.)
Hair:
Jessica: Blonde, up in... some sort of white girl afro and held back with a red/pink hairband.
Stephanie: Light brown, long, held back in a ponytail
Tina: Black, short, curled at the ends
Nadine: Brown, short
Susan: Brown, wavy, shoulder blade length, held in a high ponytail or down depending on the video, and has a single protruding flip in her bangs (That's how you can tell her apart from Stephanie when they're not in their uniforms.)
Mandana: Blonde, about waist length
Eyes:
Jessica: Blue
Stephanie: Orange/brown
Tina: Orange/brown
Nadine: Purple
Susan: Green
Mandana: Blue
Unusual Markings/Colorations: None
Senshi Outfit: Just look at this blurry screenshot.
Possessions: They all transform using rings. Jessica has some sort of compact with hearts on it that she can use to heal others. Jessica, Stephanie, and Tina also have cell phones, which they don't answer. Mandana has a Teletubbies pencil case and a staff.
Guardians: None, though Mandana acts like one.

Origin: Unknown, except for Mandana who is from an unnamed Middle Eastern country. They also all live in an equally unnamed Middle Eastern country, possibly Iran if what Queen Sheeva mentions is any indication. (Though said country does use dollars for its currency.) Sheeva and her band of racial stereotypes are trying to steal a powerful crystal located on the summit of Mt. Damavand in order to take over the world.
Connections to Canon: Jessica runs into Serena in one special episode, and they call themselves Sailor Scouts. That's pretty much it.
Senshi Moves:
Jessica: A purifying move and...
Fire Strike: Launches fire at the enemy.
Fire Beam: Same thing.
Stephanie:
Water Wave Attack: A traced version of Shine Aqua Illusion.
Tina:
Lightning Launch (?) Attack: A traced version of World Shaking.
Nadine:
Flower Aroma (?) Attack: A traced "Love Me Chain" with flowers.
Susan:
Ice Crystal Attack: I can't think off the top of my head what this is a trace of. But I'm sure it is one.
Mandana: Unnamed energy blasts using her staff and the giant blue crystal on her tiara. (Unless you want to consider "Feel the power of virtue!" and "Blue Crystal, finish them all off!" their names.)
Other Special Abilities: Jessica somehow crushes Lougata's whip with her bare hand due to her anger, can teleport, catch energy balls and throw them back at the Sub Zero rip-off who threw them, and walk through energy and fire walls and put them out... after several attempts at running into them.
Annoying Traits: Jessica is pretty much a rip-off of Serena. The rest of them, except for Mandana, are as flat as pancakes.

Comments: It's interesting how all of the heroes are white while all of the villains and Goddesses who turned evil (Gypsy is the Queen of Hope, while Saideh is the Queen/Goddess of Faith) are some sort of ethnic stereotype (there's even... some sort of pseudo-Nazi, I think, who a quick Google search tells me is a rip-off of a Cutey Honey villain.)... And why does Mandana constantly wear that now torn up princess dress that she got years ago? If they are in Iran, shouldn't they have their heads covered?

This is like watching an animated version of a Quizilla fanfic, especially the first few videos, which are jerky, obviously traced messes. What's worse is it doesn't start out by introducing the characters and showing them getting their powers. So we have very little idea as to who the hell these people are or what they're like or why the hell they are in the Middle East to begin with. (Especially the other goddesses aside from Jessica and Mandana.) I'm sure there's a good side message about religious fundamentalism in there somewhere. But it's so haphazardly done...

Though honestly, I think Mandana would be a really good character in the hands of someone more competent. A senshi who is pushing 40 who has to train a bunch of younger senshi? I'd read it. And then probably do an entry on it, but still...

Samples:

Just watch the videos.

Episode 1, Part 1
Episode 1, Part 2
Episode 1, Part 3
Episode 2, Part 1
Episode 2, Part 2
Episode 2, Part 3
Special with Sailor Moon
Gypsy's Revelation
Fundamentalism Power, Part 1
Fundamentalism Power, Part 2 (Why do you need a possibly reflective energy shield to protect a wall of fire? To keep the characters with the water and ice powers from putting it out.)

Some of them are also on Nico Nico Douga, which scrolls the video's comments across it while it's playing for some added MSTing fun. (You need an account to watch them though.)
