The Sue aside, this is a classic example of one of those stories from the old school fandom where EVERY Senshi had to have a Knight. The big question is, WHY? Every planet already has a protector, why would they need two, one of each gender? Aren't they allowed to date guys that *don't* have super-duper powers?

As a Newbie I subscribed to the shameful act of pairing the scouts/senshi up with either the typical civilians (Greg/Urawa, Chad/Yuuichirou, Ken/Shinozaki, and usually some random guy for Mina/Minako, since I wasn’t willing to kill off Rita/Reika) or the reborn earth generals. Now, a good ten years later, I believe they can be single and happy. I also like to hook them up with each other. Basically, I don’t mess with canon, so Michiru/Haruka is a definite, as is Usagi/Mamoru, and ChibiUsa/Helios.

I just don’t understand why fangirls can’t grasp the concept of single-and-happy. Not everyone has to have a significant other to be personally fulfilled.
