Comments: *Claps* Very nice, Althea doesn’t smother the story or the other characters with her presence. Too bad this was left unfinished though.

"Your pride will be your downfall if you aren't careful Vistell..." A deep voice surrounded her, the air suddenly became heavier, her breathing became quick and uneven, even her dark heart began to fill with a frantic and undeniable fear.
"M..Master!" Vistell dropped to her knees, "Forgive me!" The eyes began to move through the shadows around her. She felt like prey being stalked by an unstoppable predator. Suddenly she could feel his breath on her neck, she had to repress the urge to scream. His hands were on her, groping, clawing, some part of her enjoyed it, a lot of her did not. Yet he was irresistible, addictive, like a drug, a very lethal drug. "Wh..what is it...you would ask..of me...Master?" The temperature in the room had raised at least twenty degrees. She could feel his claws digging into her flesh, tearing the skin, the blood running down her stomach, legs and arms was warm and wet. She could sense him smiling in her ear. She had to resist the urge to turn her head, to look upon the beast is to condemn yourself to eternal torture, your very eyes would burn out of your head and skin would melt off your face. Vistell tried not to shudder at the thought. She cried out as his lips savagely caressed and bit into her neck. The heat was unbearable.
"Only to humble you a little bit my dear Vistell. We wouldn't want you to make any silly mistakes because of your extremely high self esteem now would we?" His voice was a mixture of the roar of fire and the chorus of pain, it was a thousand tortured voices in one. He pushed her onto her stomach and climbed on top of her. "I also wanted to warn you, this isn't an ordinary soul harvest you know.." He took a single claw and punctured the top of her spine, slowly he ran it down her back, this time she did scream, it felt like a flaming spear ripping down her center. He laughed at the sound of her pain. He carried on as if he were having a friendly conversation at dinner party. "I mean, these are Sailor Senshi we are dealing with here...you do realize that don't you?" He placed two talloned hands on her wings.
"Yes Master, YES!" She gasped in pain. Oh please..., she thought, not my wings, please... Just as she finished the thought he began to pull back on both her wings slowly, she clamped her teeth and screamed again, her shoulder blades would tear out of her back if he continued to pull.
"And do you know what that means my dear?" He pulled harder.
"NO! No Master I don't! Please...PLEASE tell me!" She couldn't bear it any longer. He laughed.
"You mean you're not even going to guess?!" She could only answer him with shrieks. "Ah! You give up too easily my sweet!" He gave one final snap and leaped off her. Vistell couldn't breath she was in so much pain, blood had spattered all around her, her wings were snapped in half and hanging by threads of skin. She was slowly fading out, her chest and back felt crushed. Lucifer chuckled, "Still, you lasted longer than you usually do!" With that she felt a surge of heat all over her body, she closed her eyes and when she opened them, all the pain was gone. Carefully she got up, her breathing and heartbeat slowed and a small smile came to her lips.
"That was a good round Master," she kneeled again, "thank you."
"You may look at me now." Vistell looked up, he was no longer the beast, he had transformed himself into a darkly handsome young man with jet black hair and scarlet eyes. This was her favorite way to see him. He walked towards her and took her hand lifting her up to face him. He pulled her towards him and kissed her savagely. "Do you want to know what it means now? Since you were unable to answer me before?" Vistell smiled slyly and nodded.
-------------------------------------
To her left Althea heard a voice, it was Jupiter, she had regained consciousness.
“Get her now! She’s weak! Get her NOW!” Althea reacted without really thinking. She raised her staff in the air and yelled above Vistell’s painful shrieks.
“ANGEL LIGHT MATERIALIZE!” Althea could feel the energy lift from her body and into the tip of her staff, she pointed it towards the writhing demon and let it go just as Vistell was coming back to herself. It struck her right in the stomach and threw her against a tree. Her hands flew out and Althea could see the grimace of pain on the demons face. Suddenly Vistell’s left hand formed a fist and a blast of fire flew towards the angel, hitting her right thigh, searing her skirt and burning her flesh. Feeling it she knew it was the power of Mars. She cried out and collapsed dropping her staff and freeing the injured demon. Vistell half grinned half growled at the crumpled angel.
“Does it burn Angel?” She was breathing hard and clutching her stomach but slowly she moved forward. Althea was gasping, everything was spinning but she managed to speak.
“I have a name as well Vistell. And you will remember it as sure as you will remember the light of good that hit you moments ago.” Vistell stumbled and stopped only feet away from the fallen angel. “It’s Althea, and you’ve already lost.” Vistell tried to laugh but sounded unsure, weakened but not down yet.
“I’ll write it down in my list of victims Althea,” Her voice was dripping with venom as she raised her right hand in the air, flames were licking the tips of her fingers and her eyes began to glow red. “because now, it’s time to DIE!” She made a fist and began to move closer to Althea again when suddenly a voice rang out.
“Not on my watch Bitch!” Jupiter had pushed herself up and was leaning against the broken stump. Now she raised her hand in the air. “JUPITER OAK EVALUTION!” The glowing green leaves surrounded the shocked Vistell. As sharp as blades they cut into the fabric of her fuku and the skin underneath. She shrieked in anger and pain, she was trapped in the cyclone of razor leaves. Her eyes changed back to their regular indigo and locked in with Altheas.
“You were still too late Althea… and you’ll be too late next time too. I’m not going away, and I’m not going to loose.” She grimaced again as a leaf sliced into her cheek “I’ll be back Angel!” She began to dissapear through the fluttering leaves. Althea raised herself on her elbows, her eyes never leaving the Demons.
“And I’ll be waiting!” The leaves dissipated revealing nothing behind them but the empty grove. Althea heard Jupiter slump to the ground again. Not quite empty. She tried to push herself up but the pain in her leg made her collapse in tears. Vistell was right… she had been too late again and now another senshi was dead and one more was dieing, and she couldn’t even move. She closed her eyes, the emotional and physical pain combined and formed a dark pit in the center of her and she was falling in. Suddenly she felt a strong hand on her wound, a cool gentleness coursed through her body and lifted her out of the dark. She opened her eyes, the face of Zion smiled gently down at her. “Zion….” Tears were pouring down her cheeks.
“Shhh… Althea… this is all I can do. You’ll be all right. You fought well.”
“Please… help Jupiter…” His eyes flickered away and his face turned soft.
“I can’t… she’s too far gone. Listen to me. The only reason you lost was because you were alone. You can’t do this alone Althea.” She took his hand.
“I can’t put them in danger anymore… I can’t loose another one Zion… it’s... it's too much!” He lifted her to her feet and placed his hands on her shoulders.
“This is their destiny Althea. Just as it is yours. And they know that. If you don’t believe in them you will never succeed.” He caressed her face again. “And you must succeed, for you… and for me…” he pulled her closer and stared into her eyes. She could feel his energy around her. She closed her eyes and gave in. He kissed her, passionately and strongly. His energy flowed through her and her heart fluttered. She put her arms around his neck and pulled herself closer than she could ever imagine. After what seemed like forever, they ended their embrace. She sighed.
“I needed that….” He ran his hand through her hair.
“Listen to me Althea. You are strong and beautiful. Those girls need you as much as you need them. You fight together Althea, or you won’t be able to do it. I’m with you.” He took her hands in his. “And I love you.” She looked into his gentle face and felt strong again. She knew he was speaking the truth, she knew she was not alone. She watched him fade.
“I love you too Zion.” And he was gone.
