Good morning everyone!
So, I know I haven't done this in a while, so thought I should now. So, um, last thing ya'll know about me, I got a C in Financial Accounting. Since then I have gone to St.Augustine to work with my dad.
Last Thursday Rach and I went back to Orlando, but only for the day, to pick up her brother and his wife (Aaron and Laura), which I have come to find out are some of the coolest people. I've been doing the main St.Aug thing for the past couple weeks: hang out with Rach, work, movies, football, food, hang out with the fam, say hi to people I haven't seen in a while at church, etc. Which, I have more movie reviews to go through, but before that I have even funner (yes it's a word) news.
Rach and I and Aaron and Laura went to Disney yesterday. Besides the few un-magical moments (tryin to get on the train of death, someone gettin their car towed, tryin to get around a parade, and a story of someone who got their foot chopped off by a railcar) it was a freakin blast. Aaron has been to Disney World and Disney Land 4 times before this and has NEVER ridden space mountain, so yesterday, we changed that. It was so awesome. Thank you Rach for gettin the tickets, you're great.
Time for movie reviews.
Limeny Snickets: A series of unfortunate events (3 stars)
-Very good movie, in which Jim Carrey does SUCH a good job. Some of the reoccuring themes get boring and some people find it dark, but I thought it was a very well done movie.
Spanglish (2 stars)
-Adam Sandler does pretty good in this role, but his performace couldn't overcome a REALLY drawn out movie. I would still say that you should watch it, but unless you've already seen everything else, don't make this your top choice.
Ocean's Twelve (4 stars)
-This is such a great movie. The cast is incredible and it is hilarious, suspensful and just great all around. Go see it.
