I just witnessed history.
One hour and forty minutes ago, Barack Obama became president-elect of this country. I have hated this country for eight years, have been ashamed to call myself an American for eight years, and now, I am so goddamn proud of us. We did it, America. We will overcome, we will show the rest of the world that we are not to be feared and hated. One hour and forty minutes ago, we brought change to the world. This night will go down in history, and I was there. I will remember this for the rest of my life.
