A few days back, Dwayne and I had finally found the little bean bags that we had been searching for and we were so excited! So we brought them to church and one of our kids invented this really awesome race game with the bean bags! I was so excited about the game that I ran in to tell Dwayne and we showed him and he thought that it was pretty cool but didn't really realize how cool it was at the time.

So later that night before evening service, Dwayne and I were sitting around and talking when I asked him if he would play the bean bag race with me. He agreed but he still didn't see what was so great about the game. Well, he played it and he loved it. We played that game so many times! I was so excited! I can't wait to play that game again. So now Dwayne thinks it's an awesome game, too. He doesn't really know why he loves it, he just does.

How do you play? Well, you set 2 straight lines of bean bags that lead to the other side of the room. Then the people that are racing go to the starting line and have one foot on the first bean bag, and one foot on the second to start. Both of your feet -have- to -always- be touching a bean bag in order to stay in the game. The goal is to get to the other wall, switch to your opponent's line, and make it back to the starting line first without losing your balance. If you go too fast you might lose your balance, but if you go too slow you might lose the race. So it is such a cool game because it's so simple but combines so many elements.

As for things that are going on in my life, I'm still full time at being a Pharmacy Technician. We have a meeting this Thursday with the parents that are going to Kidfest next month with us. Someone donated the funds necessary for the children's church to be completely renovated by Paul and Jessica Dietzel, who are two totally awesome children's ministers that Dwayne and I really glean from. So the renovation's are in their final stages of planning and we're about to go into the actual renovation itself. Also, Paul and Jessica are running a mini-Kids Crusade for us on April 7th that we're hoping a lot of the neighboring children's churches will be coming to also.

Then on April 20-22 is Kidfest at King's Island Resort in Ohio. Plans are coming along for that and the final deposits are due in early April. It's hard to believe that this year is going by so fast!

Meanwhile in the great big world out there, I just went to Dwayne's cousin's bridal shower yesterday. Then on April 1st one of his other cousin's is having a bridal shower that I'll be going to if I'm not already on the schedule for work.

Today is March 12th and on March 24th is my friend Michelle's wedding shower. Her wedding is going to be in late May and I'm standing up in her wedding so there's going to be a lot of activities for that.

Meanwhile, Dwayne is enrolled in our denomination's ministerial program, specializing in Children's ministry. So there's a lot of work that we've been doing lately and still need to do for that. Our last class of the first part of the program is May 12th and then Dwayne goes to take his exhorter's licensing test.

So those are a lot of the things that have been going on in my life/are going on in my life right now. It's busy but a good kind of busy. I'm so thankful to God for that.
