Huh. It's a frightening feeling I get when I realize that I'm not interested in knowing certain people as love interests or friends or acquaintances or even as merely PEOPLE anymore. Like it wouldn't bother me if they simply stopped existing because I will completely forget about them anyway

I passed this point long ago, and feel instead that my life would be easier if these people would stop existing, so that I could stop the pretense that I know or care about what they are doing.
