We interrupt this program...
I got back last night from the Robotics competition in Cleveland. Fifty-eight teams were there this year, many of which are a VERY high quality.
But (drum roll), for the first time EVER in ten years of existence (more drum roll), the FIRST Delphi Elite team 48, from Warren, took home the GOLD! Sweet! First place. It was extremely exciting. If you don't know what FIRST is, you should check it out. I hate science and engineering, but I DO know this program leads thousands of kids into that field, and we NEED them for our country to continue to compete. SO, I lend a hand.

So, now I've got to be field coach next week in Toronto, something I've NEVER done, and I have to follow up on our first championship ever. Damnit. Oh well. It'll be good times, no matter what the outcome.

On other, more LIFE changing fronts, we are moving into the house at the end of this week. I haven't posted pics because, well, it's just not finished yet. We're going to be roughing it a little bit. I know this is stressing my wife out because she cries from time to time. She NEVER really does that. I know this is the most stressful thing she's ever dealt with. I don't stress because, for me, stress isn't a motivator. In fact, it detracts from my work ethic.
So, the major point of all this is that, in about two hours, I'm packing up my computer for at least two weeks. I won't be on the net for quite a while.
So, all you punks, leave me some comments so I can have a good time reconnecting with you in a couple of weeks.
