Sanborn Concert
David Sanborn concert in Little Rock, Arkansas! Short notice, I know, but I only realized he was on tour today. 0_o I'm late to the party, as usual. The good news is that you might still be able to get tickets; my dad managed to snag a few today, so I'm going!
Speaking of Sanborn, has everyone gotten their copy of the Big Phat Band's new album, The Phat Pack? 'Play That Funky Music' on the album features him. ;) You can listen to some of the music here.
I'm Heidi, a fifteen-year-old highschool girl living in America. I'm a saxophone player, so can probably guess what I listen to. ;) I'm obsessed with Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band (not nessecarily contemporary), along with Dave Koz, David Sanborn, and some others that don't fit beneath the contemporary jazz category: Dexter Gordon, Andy Martin, Wayne Bergeron, and Paul Desmond. I love Dave Koz's Saxophonic album, and the Big Phat Band's XXL.
