MORTAL KOMBAAAAAAAAAT
I haven't updated in nearly a fortnight. Zounds.
So 24 hour comic! Buck, Mike, and I did it last weekend. Twenty four hours of artness. You start from scratch, and make a 24 page comic, and you have 24 hours in which sleep, meal, and even bathroom breaks don't stop the clock.
Me: "Omg, this is so much pressure..."
Mike: "Yep."
Me: "What if... What if the apartment catches on fire?!"
Mike: "Can't stop."
Me: "Ohhhh nooooooooooo"
So everyone awesome decided to visit us during that time. Lewis, Stoofy, Nate, and... oh, I think that was it. We were pretty bad hosts; I think we stopped drawing collectively for an hour when Lewis had chocolatey treats prepared for us. Mike was the first one finished with his. We started at 9:30am on Sunday. He was done around midnight. Buck and I burned the midnight oil, and I managed to wrap up at about seven am. I did take a shower break around 3:30am, and it gave me some much-needed wind, because I was SERIOUSLY dragging. But I managed to finish, and Buck finished around eight am. Lewis left sometime during the early morning, around five am, I think. But he returned around ten-something; his jolly laughter woke me up. He, Stoofy, Nate and I all went out to Ihop, and Lewis totes bought me breakfast. I don't really remember the rest of that afternoon... I'm pretty sure I fell asleep again.
What else has happened? Mike's parents visited and brought us a dining room table. Alex came back to Elevensies, and she left again yesterday... I keep meaning to scan my comic in and post it to DeviantArt, but Buck's scanner intimidates me. My mom threatened a visit for the holidays, but passed on it. Our gas was cut off due to a ridiculous misunderstanding, so we had no stove or hot water for two days. My manager at work is a king douchebag sack of Euro-trash, and I am going to rip him a new one the next time he tries to treat me like gum on the bottom of his shoes. And I guess that's all. Buck is napping on the floor while Pie and I are watching Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. I think I'll lay down too.
