On my birthday in 1792, a crowd marched upon Louis XIV's Paris palace and forced the king to seek protecion in the Legislative Assembly. The Assembly suspended the king, ordered his imprisonment, and called for the fromation of a new National Convention to be elected by the vote of all men.
