Sigh. This drama started off with SO much potential for me. This is what I get for not reading the synopsis of dramas before putting them down on the list of things to watch. Well, the bromance for me, was pretty much the only upside. Sho and Nino delivered, THOUGH the Hanazawa Rui-esque character wasn't pulled off as well as Oguri Shun played it. I think Sho was a bit TOO whimsical in his gazes. But by no means was their characters played badly.
The few good deeds that the girl (I can't even be bothered to remember her name) never made up for her overwhelming gold-digging character. Too little, far FAR too late. It got to the point where I was fast-fowarding through her scenes because it was inevitably going to be about how Tarou is poor and she can't love him or wow he's become rich, now I can love him. But on her part, the actress made me hate the character, intentionally or not, so hats off to her. I'm settling this in the la-di-da drama category, with good morals, but unless it's for little cuts of the bromance, I won't watch this drama in entirety.
I've also watched Pikanchi Life Is Hard Dakedo Happy, and HOLY SMOKES is Aiba hot. I loved his face, his hair, his EVERYTHING. It was entertaining enough I guess, and I didn't expect very much. Ohno's character was hilarious for me, love love LOVED his portrayal of it. Overall, not TOO bad, I'll move on to Pikanchi Double soon, as well as Smile, slowly moving down the list of things I have to watch. :D
