It's wierd, in the past two days, I have had three emails from the University of Toronto, the first asking me to apply. They've since urged me apply two more times, throwing in the promise of a chance at an entrance scholarship, and an in-person intervie with the Director of the MBA program toward the end of the month if I APPLY RIGHT NOW! Feels like I'm about to win the Clearinghouse Sweepstakes or something.
Meanwhile today was Eid, the Muslim festival signifying the end of the month of Ramadan, wherein we fast every day (no foor or water from sunrise till sunset). I actually managed to fast for all 30 days, which is cool, since I'm not overly religious otherwise. I did make this killer shrimp curry for lunch that my dad just loved. So, yay me.
I also went and surrendered to temptation and signed up for the dmhgficexchange season challenge. I hope I don't get asked to write about anything too completely random. My fic writing is embarassingly rusty.
