Sugar Monday - Through The Eyes Of Someone Else:

Oct 06, 2008 09:40

Last Tuesday marked Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.  And if you may recall, Rhonda and I started a new tradition last year, which we kept on this year of 5769 (2008).  As it turns out, Rhonda and I have a lot of the same goals and aspirations for improving ourselves and our lives, including, not the least of which, is less T.V. time and a lot  more business time (do not take a sip of coffee while watching this video.  It will come out your nose.  Not that I know from experience or anything).

As Rhonda and I tossed bread crumbs into the lake at Hermann Park, I felt a little like Snow White for all of the attention we were getting from the park animals.  I got to hand feed a duck, a nutria, and a squirrel.  All of whom were surprisingly polite about taking food from me.  Thank God for that, as the nutria had teeth that I'm pretty sure could cut through human flesh and bone like butter.

After fattening up every critter within a 200 yard radius, Rhonda, Sugar and I lounged around for a while, taking in the peacefulness of the park on a very less than crowded day.  Rhonda was smart enough to allow me just enough time to become comfortable, before commandeering my precious camera and snapping photos of a very less than cooperative photographer.

Sugar looks as though she has been forced in front of a camera enough times to actually appear happy in the face of one.  I just look surly.
