89 of 90 : mister toad
A short post today. As today was a long day.
My bank holiday weekend was a quiet friday night. Saturday day was tidying up the flat saturday day and saturday night deb and luci came over and hung out. Early Sunday I high tailed it up to London to go to the Nottinghill Carnival met up with my friend and her new girlfriend Elly (& her friend) and wandered and danced and drank a lot, before heading into camden then having to cut the night short and catch the last train home to southampton. Yesterday Luci unexpectedly stayed on in Southampton so we went out for a few drinks in the afternoon and that rolled on into the evening, so yeah good times but not healthy or sober times...
nicely toasted.
So today I wasn't bad but i wasn't on top form, so it was a little harsh to have me as the only one in the office most of the day, illness and extra time off got the better of them and the work load got the better of me. on the plus side no one was there to notice how.. sluggish i was first thing.
the reason i titled this post mister toad is that it is a reference to wind in the willows. in the book mr toad becomes entirely obsessed with the next shiney thing to take his fancy to a fault until the next thing takes his fancy. I do get lead by nose by shiney things at the moment (i don't who coughed "all the time" just then can see me after class).
Today I saw a video of someone doing digital art on an ipad2, and it was cool and i thought "someone with the know how could do a web comic on their ipad and do it where ever they ended up which would be awesome for out put", i then started wondering how much practice it would take to get good enough to do that, then casual i found myself looking at ipads...
i stopped myself, but i really have to maintain some level of focus people!
besides a pad and paper WAAAAAAAY cheaper to practice on.
the point is once again i need to discipline/focus and to remember that.
though feel free to buy me an ipad 2 if you share my vision :D
