HOORAY
today was fuckin great, and totally productive.
we went to a european grocer, and picked up some hazelnut wafers, turkish coffee, pickled tomato peppers, and potato-bacon pierogi's.
then we hit up the german deli next door and tried stuffed bacon, and got butter cheese, fresh bratwurst, bavarian white sausage, pork and viel loaf, black forest ham, marzipan, and suerkrout.
we then came home and had a lebanon balogna and pepperjack sandwich on dill bread, and butter cheese and black forest ham on buttered toasted white bread, european style. this ham is the best i've ever had. its so smokey and flavorful, and melts in your mouth.
then we made sausage, basically an apple bratwurst sort of thing.
basically, i am the badass.
and i got paid, for the first time in four months!
tomorrow we're having white sausage and beer for breakfast, and then brats for the road. its then down to tucsan to see the Downtown Brown!
