yesterday, after the internet, i walked around a bit more ate dinner - some Vegeterian stew which was mainly rice and vegetable and a little bit of sauce. then i decided to walk and walk some more.. and walk again and before i knew it i was walking along the highway, and couldnt find my why down to the city so i walked through some private property until i saw the old city.. then walked a bit more and saw some awesome views of the bridge, old town, and river that i hadnt seen before. once i was done, i walked back to the apt and stayed at the majda who picked me up from the train station. i decided to stay with her for the rest of my stay in mostar.
today i woke up and headed to Potičelj in the rain. Potičelj is an old town completely covered with stone.. and has mosques and towers and forts and so i explored a bit in the rain and headed back to mostar, changed my clothes..and headed to the internet cafe.
maybe i'll head to blagaj..another old town with stones and a turkish dervish house..if the weather clears up. if not ill just wander through mostar again.
one of the girls i had met in Split and Dubrovnik is in mostar and she emailed me, so maybe if she responds to my email we will meet up.
tomorrow im off to Sarajevo, and it is suppose to rain continuesly for the rest of the weekend.
oh...and Bosnians seems to love plaid umbrellas.. thats all ive been seeing today.
also... little gypsy kids have been asking me for money.. now generally in the usa it is out of question and you hardly would give anything to beggers..but is it different in War torn poor countries? ive been saying no to them.. but should i give in? its not like its a third world country.. but still poorer than the usa.
