[Luffy stares in complete and total awe at the bearded Smoker in front of him. Gullible to the max, he completely falls for it. His eyes triple in size at Aipy's matching hat.]

I won't eat the berries!

[And then he just latches onto him.] Smokey said you wouldn't give me anything! But I'm really glad you came!

Well, the marine is a lot stricter than I am. [Picks up, being careful not to be too Smoker-esque about it and still ruffles.] Still, I'm sure you've been a good kid this year. You even went to get back your lost friends. And that counts for a lot.

[But he's all smiles, and Aipy moves over to Smoker--i mean, Santa's shoulder and hugs his head with his tail.] Good! You can't leave nakama behind. And we'll always go back for them like we did for Kaz.
