An early morning haze glazed over Konoha, bathing the village in an orange glow that clashed terribly with the young green budding on the trees. Spring came with a hesitant touch; the cold was still unbearable in the morning, and tempted every near-waking being to tunnel into the sheets and wait for the sun to blaze into the rooms, dabbling everything with the similar orange glow that would wake the deepest sleeper. No blinds could save block out the strong light.

It was a single beam of orange light streaming in from the blinds that woke Sasuke from his pleasant doze.

It was not the smell of stale junk food that wafted in from the kitchen, nor was it the scent of the spent sheets, the lingeting musk of sweat from the night before.

It was not the lack of a pillow that stirred the boy, and neither was it the hair that haphazardly stuck out on one side of his face, seeming to tickle his nose.

The cold did not disturb him, and the spindly legs entangled with his barely bothered Sasuke as he rolled over, his eyes half-lidded to arrange his body.

It was not the gentle snoring of the blonde teenager, unabashedly naked, without a single sheet to cover him, that startled him awake, but that single ray of orange light blinking as the clouds rolled by.

Sasuke blanched in his nearly unconscious state at the sight before him. Noticing a slight shiver through Naruto's lean body, Sasuke merely pulled the orange comforter over the owner of the bed and himself, but not before a hundred tiny dots of light dappled the skin of Sasuke and his lover.

The morning light was gone instantly, and Sasuke nestled close to Naruto, the only light he would ever need, and fell asleep.

Wow. That story was surpbly written. Not exactly cute, but it paints a beautiful image in your mind. ^_^ Sasuke and Naruto are always adorable together!
