I'm Mr. Write

That's right, not to be confused with the strictly mythological male (usually embodied in the image of fabio, except less homosexually) that women often dream of, the other Mr. Write, the one that....as you guessed it ...writes. I've been a writing machine lately ( Read more... )

I'm well aware of the fact that the idea of big business isn't the evil, it's the people behind it. The people that have lost touch with who they used to be, and that's my whole point. The system is broken, because of the people polluting it.

Viewing the small picture, or having tunnel vision is what the corporate zombies are doing, viewing the larger picture of the cause and effect is what the enlightened may do. Not all corporate establishments have become a horrible place, however, the fact of the matter remains that the few that do, spoil it for everyone.

I remark upon my experiences, and the things that I have learned and taken away from the whole situation, that are basically exclusive to me, in that I was used, and decided to make better use of my skills than to have to work for a group of people that had become stale human beings, who forgot what it was like to be in 'your shoes'. That is merely a fact, however, that these people acted this way, and my disgust is with the people behind the curtains. Everyone is different, and everyone acts a certain way, expects certain results...The people I had worked for had lost touch with reality and had a set of ideals that don't necessarily work it. It's all about the short term, and it's all about exploiting the resources. There are a few people that are different from this, that create a better work environment, and turn better results, this is all I point out. In the name of ethics, it's all the same. There's no good or bad... just business. But there are better businesses, and questionable ones, and if we lay down and accept garbage, then it never gets better.

I'm not saying to boycott anything, I'm not organizing rallys, nor am I making up a fresh batch of signs for the picket line. I only say, it didn't work for me, experience it how you will, don't bleat like the rest of the sheep, and treat people as your equals. This is the only 'war' I speak of, and the only action I promote. I stand where I do because it fits who I am, someone else may take a stand in a much different and more positive way by working his/her way up and then actually taking better care of things, that's the only way it will ever change. Am I saying that it's a corporate battle now, where no mercy is to be taken and that has to change in order to become better in the eyes to the public. Nice, but realistically, no. I'm just saying that when you go so high, you should not lose your mindset as you climb the ladder, thus you become the so called 'corporate zombie' afore mentioned; and this is a fate worse than death, because you gain an air of inhumanity about you. It's all; about self betterment and helping others, a message that often gets lost in translation.

I appreciate the feedback and am glad you are reading and thinking for yourself, that's the most important part of being human and being openminded and free. Peace out, for sheezy
