Erm, Sir Integra, did you get my note?
If not I suppose I need to explain why I look like this huh?

So...school...yey.
...Wouldn't it make more sense if the symbol for Gryffindor was a Griffin and not a lion.

[[ooc:...ya'll saw nothing]]

...Well, I suppose the founders the houses were named after just wanted to represented by their favorite animals...I doubt they were trying to connect their names to certain animals. Ravenclaw is represented by an eagle, after all, when one might logically think it would be a raven.

It is a tad strange. *shrug* I suppose Miss Ravenclaw must have had a fondness for eagles. I think it's understandable, though, they are beautiful birds.

Well I guess so. Better looking than Ravens anyway...which are just oversized shiny crows.

The theory, as I understand it, is that each house's animal represents the attributes of that house. Lions represent courage, eagles wisdom, snakes sneakiness, and badgers are cute yet tough. That's what I was told, anyway.

[[I had to have someone explain the badger thing to me originally; I didn't get it until it was spelled out. XD]]
