it's been a while.
i havent been updating the new journal much.
i cant even claim that i've been busy. I've joined the proud ranks of the unemployed-and-not-really-making-any-effot-to-change-that. it's bitterly cold and the arena is snowed in, so i cant ride; visits to the horses involve some quick grooming, kisses and dumping supplements into the feeder before making a mad dash back to the warmth of the car. They have a run the size of a small arena but i still wish they got a bit more structured excercise...the next sunny, non-blizzarding day we have, i'm skipping school and taking them for a trail.
speaking of school...i've been sick lately to the point of having to visit the doctor (i had a viral sinus infection or something like that), and consequently since i cant even make it to school half the time when i'm feeling just peachy i stayed home for almost a week. it was a bad deal, really...staying home with my family all the time drove me mad, and now my grades are shudder-worthy. in response to this, of course, i spent my weekend lounging around watching veronica mars and playing no-stakes poker with friends (i'm terrible.) sometimes my irresponsibility just annoys the hell out of me. THIS WEEK I AM GOING TO GET SOME BLOODY WORK DONE.
I cant believe chirstmas is so close. it doesnt feel like it. Possibly that has something to do with the fact that my personal finances are completely dismal, so i havent bought a single present for anyone. I wont be receiving anything either, at least not from my parents...my mother informed me last week that this year for christmas she was paying off my outstanding speeding ticket from July. LMFAO. merry christmas, honey! we put the receipt in your stocking!
