*thirded* He really does deserve better than Jack. Perhaps it's due to personal experience, but the Ianto/Jack ship just.. as pretty as it is, it just doesn't seem like it'll end well.

I imagine it won't end with hearts and flowers and rainbows and puppies, but I don't see Jack giving Ianto up if he doesn't have to, and Ianto...well, I think Ianto won't easily give up someone who can't die on him. In that way, I believe Jack's better for him than anyone, but in more conventional ways, yes, he deserves much better.

Ahhh. I think Jack really does love Ianto and I think he knows it. He just doesn't love him in that you and only you forever way that Ianto had been used to expect. You know?
