The first day..of the rest of another 4 year hell...
I can’t even begin to tell you. I have been literally vomiting and I even started to cry this morning. Yeah I know it’s a little much…but I care 0% about 98% of people and things in general..but the other 2% I care VERY deeply and passionate about. And this election was on of them. At the rally, not ONE bush supporter could give me a real reason other than “gay marriage” “abortion” or something of that nature. What was funny was EVERY bush supporter I spoke with said they hated bush! And that they hated the war and what he has done for the country…but it was there “religious duty” to vote for bush. I don’t understand.
One women said..she wanted to vote for Kerry but her preacher said it was wrong and she would go to hell...so she was gonna vote for Bush. *sigh*
This one black women said the same things so I said “Well I had someone tell me yesterday that interracial marriages should be illegal ( as they were for quite a while) because its in the bible to “stick to your kind” and he looks at me and says “Sure is!! And it SHOULD be illegal!” I laughed..and said “So your telling me if your daughter fell in love with a white man she shouldn’t be guaranteed the same basic rights as other people such as failing joint taxes?” she said “Yeah she should, but I don’t think its right nor do I want my daughter or any black people marrying outside their race…it should be illegal” I can’t begin to tell you how IGNORANT and stupid some people are…It makes me sad. I’m honesty afraid for my life…not my life as in sacred I’ll die…I’m afraid for the quality of my life in every way AND my children’s lives that will be affected by the dumb fucks bush gets to put in the supreme court…his legacy will live on LONGGGGGG after his 8 year term.
But mark my words….before his term is up. Every person will surely regrect their “religious duty” when they are all JOBLESS and their sons are dieing and possibly being drafted…and their daughters are having babies..because Republicans feel contraception’s are a form of abortion…OH and when their kids are being shot in schools because there is NO gun laws...thanks to bush…and ANYONE can buy A-K47s so…yeah
