Issac Macadangdang

Its been a busy/tiring week for us.

A week ago, the yet-to-be-named stray kitten outside the shop was dragged from under a van by a neighbour's dog, and swung left right centre like a soft toy.

Despite the owner, Jaynet, and me pulling and choking Bobby the mongrel, he refused to let go. Not even when another neighbour splashed him with a pail of water.

It was minutes of struggling before the owner did the utmost dumbest thing. He took his dog by the head, and slammed him down onto the road, hoping he will release the cat. BIG MISTAKE. Logic says whatever was in the dog's mouth will hit the floor first. Which the cat did. Blood ooze out of cat's nose, and even then, Bobby didn't let go.

Marky did the ultimtate cos my heart was hurting so bad. I went behind and grabbed him by his balls as hard as I could. That caused Bobby to release the cat, who ran to a corner and collasped.

Attended to scratches on neighbour's arm, before rushing to the animal hospital, where the vet said cat was in shock, had to be hospitalised, and suffered a fractured jaw.

2 days into resting in hospital, the vet went ahead to wire the now-named-Issac Macadangdang stray cat's jaw hoping to get the jaws locked back into the right position.

Never ever send your pets to Mt Pleasant Animal Hospital. NEVER. A 2nd opinion which I seeked told me that the jaw was wired wrongly, with the lower teeth poking into the mouth everytime Issac closes his mouth. DAMN VET. After ketok-ing me of nearly 800 bucks, this is what I get!

Due to the fact that Issac could not take solids, he had a tube inserted into his throat, and a few points sewn onto his body.. so everyday Marky mixes food with water, and syringe into the tube, transporting food directly into his throat.

Now Issac stays in the shop with my kids. I am not taking chances.

Kind souls who are keen to help with his medical bills etc, please please do get in touch with me. TIA.

You'd notice that Issac can't close his mouth during this recovery period.

The kids love Issac. Even grumpy Ricky Boy will lick Issac whenever I put him on the floor.

On another note, some kids left me this cute artwork on my windscreen while I was parked and eating breakfast last Saturday morning. I've since took the poster in and pasted it in my bedroom. Cute!
