The Eye Doctor
i went to the eye doctor today (hence the title). apparently, she didnt want me to keep my vision, so she decided to shine bright lights in directly into my pupils in order to see my optic nerve. of course, she wasnt able to do this on the first 10 tries. I have very sensative eyes (especially to light), so by instinct, they wouldnt stay open. then, she had to put eyedrops in my eyes to make my pupils dilate in order to come close to catching a glimpse of my poor optic nerves. after 20 minutes of dilation and 7 more tries, she was either able to see the nerve, or just gave up and assumed it was fine. my perscription got slightly worse, so i have to get new glasses. im also getting new frames cause mine are all messed up, they dont look that much different, but a little smaller lenses. i might be able to get them the day before school starts.
