Sometimes i wonder if it is our duty to spend our adolescence missing what it is that we didn't get in our childhood - love, family, money, time, freedom, whatever. Then spend our later teens and twenties crippled by it, and overcompensating and trying to find a way to place this thing in our lives... And finally we pass this on in a positive or negative way to our own families, inevitably leaving a gap somewhere, and thus restarting the whole cycle...
