DJ Smiley and i have been conspiring to slowly introduce more and more full blown euro-techno-house kinda music into the Dallas scene. I was never a huge fan back in the day, but had the odd night fucked up on drugs and reaching for the lasers. It's a hell of a lot better than all this Dirty South "lean back, lean back, holla back girl" crap that i am subjected to nightly at work. He and i enjoyed ourselves at least. He is agood bloke and has had an interesting time of it. Dallas is a "new start" for him, and i have to tell you a really poor fucking choice, because the bars and clubs in Dallas are a bit weak in a lot of ways, and he's going to spend a long time playing hip-hop. Oh well.
I have no idea what i am doing with my life. At all. The plans from various people to keep me here are starting to float belly up, and i have no idea why i want to stay, but it seems like i do.
America has affected me, as i was afraid it would, but i can still see the path back. We'll see if i can find it.
