have just finished watching lantana an impossibly plotted, but superbly put together and acted film. little wonder that it was the talk of the town a few years ago.
however the whole experience for me was ruined by watching advertising for upcoming films on showtime. One in particular, it's name escapes me, from the producers of a couple of other crapulent british period dramas, which is about my most hated genre of films, stars Nick Nolte.
I mean someone must have been hitting the bong hard in Hollywood that night. Who on earth would cast that talentless redneck hillbilly in a British period piece? I mean he gives himself date-rape drugs on a night out. What sort of idiotic casting is that?
