This morning...

I woke up and i couldn't move.

I couldn't open my eyes to see and they hurt anyway.

This weekend nearly killed me.

Don't get me wrong there well good bits, great bits, and rough bits, but it was pretty entertaining, but has worn me out. Even a red bull has only just managed to get me to type listlessly.

Spent a lot of quality time with my girl who tells me that she wants to be my Angel and be something good in my life, which is very nice of her i must say. She's a bundle of contradictions, tightly wound and only rarely getting into a spin (especially under the influence). It's been good, and i guess we're less wary of each other, and more comfortable not so much with things about each other, but with ourselves with each other. If that makes sense. It does to me and that's all that's important.

Cricket. Incompetance saw us with 10 players for the day. Raining lightly in the morning, on and off during the day. WIth it eventually washed out at about 1530. Highlights of the day - FM's 50, Aaron's great overhead mark at mid off, and myself bowling the left handed John Harvey second ball, with a lovely inswinger onto the off stump, and taking the middle stump of a stubborn batsman who i had convinced myself had kinda sledged me, which made me think him out.

I wanted to bounce him, but given the failure of my previous bouncer, and the fact he was wearing a helmet, i thought it was pointless... however i moved the fine leg a lot wider as if i was covering for a hook shot, and then shot one at his feet (he stands outside his leg stump quite a bit, swinging it back towards the slips and in this case through the middle of the wicket.

Lowlight. Dragging the first ball onto middle stump. Ed Neylan as umpire suggested that i need to move my feet across as well as forward. Ah well.

Hunt and kill shooting was abandoned because of the weather and the fact that we can afford some time.

I spend Saturday editing the crapulent med revue video footage. Bad scripts, plus bad acting, so poor directing, some poor framework and stuff like that, that the volunteer editors who had no idea what they were getting into, Jeff and the ALPHA, get given shit for complaining that 1) they were being forced to magically make this crap good, and 2) that being badgered to have them finished within the ever shrinking timeframe, with late changes, additions and never-quite-fully-explained-effects, was an utterly ridiculous state of affairs.

Want. to. smoke.

XMen2 tonight. MuzW pulled out so i have a ticket for my new Angel.
