I already had one of these going that I was going back to, but after finding this one and thinking it's way better...I decided to start over.

So I had to sit here and really think about this one, because I'm what's known as a multi-shipper of doom and it's really hard for me to choose favorites. Ultimately I decided to look down at the other days and filter some out of those as choices. Even so, this is still only one of my favorites.
I really loved this relationship, despite how short it was. It's not often that I find a canon couple that I can really latch onto, but Damon and Rose had my heart from the get go. It wasn't really even a romantic relationship in canon, but I could see so much potential. It's so rare to see Damon letting his humanity shine through like that, and with her it was so, so clear. He wasn't the big, bad vampire with Rose, he was just Damon, and it was beautiful.
