It was just a tap of fingers to the other man’s forehead, and suddenly Jason’s eyes regained a little focus. He blinked, a little disoriented for the moment, before giving the man a small, grateful smile. “Thanks, Cas.”
Trenchcoat nodded, before looking back at her. “Who is she?”
“You first, CPA. I think that given I got him to the hospital, I deserve a little bit of an explanation here.” Lois’s hands landed on her hips, as she glared at them both. “Same from you, Jason.”
Jason smirked, before pushing himself to his feet. “First of all, I don’t know who this Jason guy is? But I ain’t him. My name’s Dean. Second of all, if I tried to explain him to you, we’d probably be here a while. Third of all-” He took another step closer until he was inches from her, and then let his eyes angle downwards. “-I totally called the black lace.”
Lois’s jaw clenched, he stance shifted, and her fist went flying out to crack across “Dean’s” jaw. She didn’t say a word as she stormed out of the room, but she could still hear well enough to hear the conversation behind her.
“Was that absolutely necessary, Dean?”
“Yup.” She could practically hear the smirk in his voice. “And totally worth it.”
