Geez, really

I'm getting really bad at this. Oh well.

School's going okay...I don't have any of my textbooks but oddly enough, I'm doing just fine without them. Note to self: study tonight for comm. class exam tomorrow.

I was asked a rather interesting but odd favor by Mommy Dearest yesterday. You see, a family friend's daughter and her family moved back here after fifteen years of living in North Carolina. Now the family is living in a two-bedroom house in Sun City with her parents and her maternal grandparents and the grandmother has terminal cancer. Anyway, since this girl is brand spanking new to AZ, Mom asked me if I could come to an upcoming BBQ at her place and bring friends to at least help the girl get a head on some kind of social life. She has nobody and she's pretty much stuck at home watching her grandmother, someone I've known for years, waste away.

The girl is 18, I think, and is fresh out of online high school (really horrible allergies) and her college doesn't start until October. I'm told that she's very much like me as far as character but I wasn't given any hints about her likes and dislikes. All I can determine now is that she is very studious, intelligent, and is a real sweetheart. Mom thinks highly of her and considering her standards, I think it'll be okay. Reb, can I ask you to come when Mom gives me a possible date for the BBQ? I know she's aiming for a Saturday so hopefully it won't conflict too much with schedules. Bring EJ, of course, and I'm planning on inviting Adam, Heather, and Brendan. Of course Chris is coming, we're attached at the friggin' hip.

I have a little under an hour to screw around until class. It's Peggle time!! damn you PopCap Games and your addictive wares! >_<
