surrender of reason but not a reason to surrender
Ahhh motherfucker i'm so into this album! this is the first album i've actually paid for in years. i've got a copy coming in the mail but i couldn't resist downloading the leak.
I'm amazed at my own consumeristic weakness. everyone has a vice, i guess. I'm not the type to derive joy from the feel of plastic packaging and the smell of a new product but I'm only human. can't be a communist forever. I now engage in the wholly American practice of loving my posessions more than my companions.
None Shall Pass is apparently a commentary on personal relationships and the tendency of people to judge eachother. I dunno about that, but it sounds nice. It'll take months to dig into this album and really see if thats whats going on. Whether it's really about anything or not, it's easy to just make it about something in your head.
Back to my Bukowski ass cot and typewriter lifestyle.
