The duel [ooc post]

Oct 11, 2010 17:20

*note*  Thanks for Dave Hoffman for the awesome write up and chops throwing that was the actual duel. As we all know, I suck at that stuff.

She  was so tired of this shit, of his shit. Her head pounded and every cell screamed for the pills Payday had forbidden her from taking, not even Cloud's magic could get of the fucking headache. So she was a baby napper was she? Terrabytes stood in the living room screaming at her for doing the right fucking thing....fuck that noise, she welcomed his fucking challenge. The chance to hurt something as much as she was hurting was to good to pass up.

There  was a sense of weight in the air as Terabytes and Sally met in the Dojo. The posture of both instinctively changing in a fashion best
suited to quick response in a fight. Weight rolling to the balls of their feet, knees slightly bent and shoulders relaxing in preparation
to roll with any force thrown at them.

When their eyes met a strange energy formed between them that only happens when two powerful being locking themselves into a struggle of will.

“You’re nothing but a Baby-stealing twice-damned wannabe Seer” Terrabytes said in a voice filled with anger and frustration.

“Your nothing but a Putrid Cum stain on the Mattress of humanity, your mother should have swallowed rather than letting you become a Cripple freak of the Free Council. Maybe some of those idiots who look up to you can dream you up a new leg that will let you dance with your wife.” Sally shot back, venom filling her voice.

Terrabytes face went a red and those with the sight watched as all the horrors of their worst nightmares power out him. It lances forward at Sally as the as runes of the Squired Circle glow bright. At the last moment Sally raised her arm and the edge of a circle could be seen and the power of Terabytes nightmares is turn back on itself.  But she was caught off guard by the strength of the attack and the energy slammed into Sally staggering her.

Sally used the blow to spin her as she waved her hand forward at Terrabytes.Light shimmered off dozens of strands of fate that sliced through the air like piano wire cutting into the black void he called into existence to defend himself and he grimaced under the pressure of the attack but bared it well.

Once more Terrabytes pulled upon the horrors of the mind and sent them out like a cloud hoping to move around Sally's shield. But she was ready for his trick and moved her shield to catch and redirect nightmaresback on themselves.  Her other hand moves forward and taking advantage of the darkness created by the horrors, she sliced through his shield and cutting deep into him.

Terrabytes staggered into under the on slaughter of Sally attack but pushed a side the fatigue and pain to power energy into his attack and
shields. The horror of his nightmares were unable to reach her but they pushed her hard enough that he easily sucked the strands of her next attack in the black hole of his shield.

Frustration crossed  Sally's face as her attack fails to land and Terabytes was quick to re-act to small open he saw in that moment. He threw his head forward with a toe curling scream and vomited out gale force of darkness and terror that only a mind touched with insanity could imagine. Sally attempted  to pull her shields up but the darkness was too strong and she fell to one knee under attack.

Unwilling to give up she whipped  a hand along the ground and strands of fate sliced out through the air to wrap around Terabytes feet. The shock of her attack hit him and he desperately tried to finish her off but his aim is wide and easily defeated by her shield.

Rising to her feet, her shield fading as she wove both her hands in a deadly pattern around Terabytes and cut deeply into him stripping him of the last of willpower. Sally jerked her hands back but it was too late, the attack was to strong. Terabytes screamed out as thousands razor thing cuts appear all over his body and his blood splashed on the floor.  He staggered forward falling to his knees and catching himself with one hand inches before his face slammed into the floor.

It was over, she had won, but victory wasn't sweet. It didn't make the savageness of it all go away, or the pain in the back of her head stop thundering. Hollow, she was hollow.
