Two matching external hard drives for the Mac Mini....

My family is thinking of getting me an external hard drive to go with my Mac Mini. I don't know if they are still but I like looking at accessories\gadgets that I might get but here's the thing. There's two possible alternatives that I might want if I do get an external hard drive for my Mac Mini... (74GB isn't cutting the mustard anymore).

The first one I have been looking at is the LaCie mini stackable hard drives. I like how they stack with each other and with the Mac Mini. But the thing is today I saw one by iomega which I can find one for about the same price as the smaller LaCie Mini but with the same size as the bigger one. I wonder which would be better? I'm sort of leaning towards the iomega 500GB. Perhaps the fact that the iomega one is out of stock on their site says something. Hmmm.. the LaCie ones have 8MB of cache... that may be a benefit. The iomega one has 2MB.
