One way to make old games fresh again or any game for that matter (bust out the 3D glasses!)
If you have an nvidia 3D card in your computer there are drivers you can download and view any of your games in real 3D with any kind of stereo vision device you might have including Red and Cyan 3D Glasses (anaglyph). If you have some lying around put them on for these three screenshots I am posting here in this entry. I have some 3D Glasses with plastic lenses and frames that look like sunglasses with a mirror finish in the front but the cheap cardboard kind should work. First is from Quake 2, second is from Kingpin: Life of Crime and the third one is from Half-life. The best one out of those three to play with 3D glasses is Kingpin because of it's color scheme. I might post some more screenshots from it later so you can see what I mean. I notice id software engine games like these three are the best ones to play in 3D but all 3D games are truly 3D they just need to be interpreted and viewed with hardware\software that lets you actually see the 3D instead of just being rendered on a flat screen like they usually are.
