Last night was Rebecca's birthday, so we all traveled up to this place off of North Druid Hills. It was pretty fu, there were far too many people there to fit in such a small apartment. The only booze that was there was whiskey,a nd there were no chasers, so I walked around with a cup of Evan Williams until our beer got there.
Unfortunately, while we were stashing our beer outside, a plainclothes cop showed up. Even more unfortunately, I was apparently the only one who heard him say that he was a cop. He asked if we were doing any driving, so I said no, we were staying the night. Catie was one of the ones who suffered from temporary hearing failure and said "No we aren't; we are going home." Guh.
Then the party cleared and I spent a good amount of time trying to find a place to move the aprty to and find rides for all the drunk people, a feat I somehow managed to successfully pull off. Robin yelled "Who's a cop, I'll kick his fucking ass!" and I had to go and calm the cop down. Paul and I almost got into a fight because I was pissed at the situation already and he was being a douchebag.
About 20-25 people made it to Munchkin's place, so that was still fun. Becca and Steven made it too, so it seems that Becca had a good birthday. Jay and Steven were teaching Jay's little sister to breakdance in the living room. Kyle was pushing Paul around the parking lot in a shopping cart with his car. I stuck a peanut butter cracker into my mouth to bug Catie because I thought it was a cheese cracker, but luckily all I realized what it was and spit it out. Laura came over for about ten minutes, then after she left I got pissed off again because she has a boyfriend. everyone was talking about driving up to MacDonalds to get breakfast but I didn't particularly feel like dying so I just walked upstairs and went to bed.
Albert React is in town on thursday with Fight Paris. I think I'm going to go; Albert React was one of the bands that stayed in my house about a month ago, and Fight Paris is Laura's friends' band that is about to move to LA. Actually, it turns out that a lot of the new kids I've been meeting are in the same little group as Fight Paris, in the same way that we are with ASV and Cartel. Its kinda weird that I've never seen them before.
